GURUKUL KANGRI UNIVERSITY- HARIDWAR

I chose this college because it is a GFTIs college also I get very less percentile in JEE Mains so i chose this course . Curriculum helps in building real life based applications as they mainly focus on coding only . Areas for improvement should be there in the advance technology. Teaching methods are awesome . Timing for exams are of 3 hrs. Difficulty level is moderate but tricky .

Total fees - 500000 tution fees and 200000 for hostel fees . Also some miscellaneous fees are there which add upto 100000. So it becomes 800000 for tution and hostel fees . If we consider the fees between student then it is same because there is no dicount in college fees for student by the college . Scholarship for bihar student is like bihar student credit card .

The name of the annual fests are JANAGANI . It held particularly in the months of december . Books and journals are easily accessible to all who are studying in this college. Also we have two library one in campus and other in university . Classrooms are having all the facilities like projectors , digital boards , and speakers etc. sports activities are organise on the day of fests . Sports room are also available for indoor gaming like table tennis, chess, carrom etc. Student-run clubs and social group like NSS, NCC, UDHYAM etc. are also there .

Rooms are there with all the basic facilities but they don't provide personal batroom for 5 students . They give a single batroom and there we have to adjust which is a big problem . Meal quality is very bad as they make unhealthy food every night and they use their slippers to wash potatoes , one of the worst case of gurukul hostel . So I not choose this college i my second year . Finally i went to live in other PGs named ASHIRWAD HOSTEL but, this hostel is also not so good but i am here because of its affordability .

I have applied for some IITS and NITS but i get very lower branch in all of these college because of which i chose this course as i get CSE branch in this college . Yes , I get rejection from all NITS and IITS because i get lower branch in Tier 3 college so i chose this college as it is GFTIS . Admisssion process is very simple because we just have to clear cutoffs i.e. of more than 60 percentile .Cutoffs are not so high so any one can clear this exam if someone dosen't get this college then they can apply directly .

Faculty-to-student ratio is good and wise as faculty halp in mentoring students in their core subject and provides all the necessary items required for development . They are approachable too . I liked Abhishant Sharma as he is having good knowledge of coding and hackathon. I don't like class of MM Tiwari sir as he is just kidding on his joke when noone is laughing on his joke . Exams are taken twice in a year . Exams are easy but moderate . Students do not fail to clear the exams. Course curriculum is relevant as they teach real life application based problems .

Open Gym are there in the campus mess and university . Also Gurukul has its own stadium named Dayanand Stadium which is in the university also . Cafeterias opens at 8:00 AM and closes at 10:00 PM . Campus timing is 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM . Library time are same as campus time . Famous hangout places inside the campus is Sports room and outside it is Ganga river .
