- Our college building has 5 floors and are divided into sections as law, arts and all have seperate corners.
- Our college playground top is amazing as it is a top players area where we can dive while playing without concerning for getting injured.
- From drama to politics, we can find exposure to whatever our interests are.
Dislikes
- Since I was from a small town some students purposely tried to mock me as maximum students are from Delhi and they don't welcome the outsiders the way it should be.
Course Curriculum Overview
Well, it was nothing short of a thrilling contest here because my first year at college had basic arts subjects but academics overall are quite strong as we were pushed for internships and researches. So, books are the not only means of learning here because academics at Ramjas means skill building exercise.
Internships Opportunities
Internships in various content creating or content managing companies were provided. Podcasts are in full flow these days and some podcasters approached our college to get some BA studnets who can research about the incoming guests and a stipend on 12-15k were paid to them.
Placement Experience
Placements at Ramjas are great but Commerce department and Arts Economics department are the ones which gets the best placements and we have to look for the leftovers. Still more than half studentas pursuing BA were placed from campus last season.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am pursuing BA from DU's one of the top college which is Ramjas College. Our fees for BA is 20000 a year and in the first year I had to pay a registration charges of 5000 and then besides colleges fees, we have to pay DU examination fees which is 4000 per semester for BA Program.
Campus Life
Our campus is big as it's 14 acres big and has 2 old buildings and now 2 new buildings are in operation as well. Initially there was just one canteen but now we have one more as well. Sports ground and indoor sports range is there. Our annual fest is Mosiac and since it's in North Campus other North Campus colleges like Hansraj and other colleges studnets are invited at our fest.
Admission
For UG programs in DU, CUET UG entrance is must and depending upon the quota you are applying for admission the cut-off varies. From 725 to 610, scores are accepted as per studnets caste or sports merit.
Faculty
Our faculties holds a strong legacy in DU and not just the decorated names but our faculties does see no discrimination which Delhite in general does. So, ya a strong foothold of Ramjas College is it's strong faculties.
Night Life
Our college has a gym which is opened till 7 pm and sports ground too can be used for playing till 7 pm. Library closes at 6 pm and then after leaving the college, Uncle Tom's Maggie corner is our favourite hangout place. Kamala Nehru Ridge is also nearby our campus.
