Remarks

Only merit of the university is pollution free lush green environment and a nice library. But since the roads near btech hostels are in a worse condition thus a large amount of dust and dirt is blown away by vehicles.

Course Curriculum Overview

2

Course curriculum need to be revised and made as per new curriculum of iit's/nit's.Here we have semester based system with two hourlies and one semester final exam with duration of 1hour and 2.5 hours respectively.

Placement Experience

0.5

The placements and job opportunities are very less.None of large companies comes here for placements except some agriculture based companies as I know about. No the college does not provide internship to all the students but offers self financed training to some selected no. of students.

College Events

0.5

Colosseum : The technical fest; Spardha : The sports fest; Litrosphere:The Science and literary fest; Accolade: The cultural fest. Razzmatazz :The Tech fair. Organizer:Engineering and technology society Pantnagar

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quite feasible. It costs about 1 lakh rupees per year including food and hostel charges. The fees may vary due to different food charges as you have to pay basic charges(mandatory) +extra charges on extra items.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't know much about these facilities but college provides tuition fee waiver to economically weaker students.Tuition fee waiver seats are reserved for each branch every year. Some scholarships are also provided on the basis of caste.

Campus Life

0.5

A good no. of cultural and social activities are organised but no technology events are held(even the technical fest consists of cultural activities.Inter hostel sports and games are organised every year.Laboratories are the worst part of College of technology. The equipments are very old and most of them are defective.

Hostel Facilities

1

The hostel are in worst condition. The buildings of some of the hostels may collapse any time(eg. Patel and tagore bhawan). Food is not supplied in adequate amount and the quality is also worse. Clean drinking water is not available to students(only one water cooler per 250+ students in some hostels. Eg: patel bhawan). Flushes of toilets do not work and toilet seats get choked regularly. Mosquitoes are a very big problem. No pest and mosquito control measures are taken by the authority. The cctv cameras of hostel are just dummies they do not work. Wifi facility is limited to a common room which also do not work most of the days.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni meet is held every year. But i dont know any contribution from any alumni to the college.Senior students just make fool of first year students and tries to pass on this legacy to their juniors.

Admission

Admission is done through Jee main entrance exam merit list.Students have to apply for online/spot counselling. At first two foundation of online counselling are held and seats are allotted. The vacant seats (if any) are then alloted through spot counselling.

Faculty

2

Faculty can be considered as average ,not much good.A few teachers are very good and helps students. But most of teachers are non cooperative. Conclusion:we can find some very good and the worst faculty here.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is highly relevant, focusing on practical knowledge for real-world prep, though more hands-on application and updated content would strengthen it. Exams occur 6 times yearly; they are tough but fair for the course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .
