Course Curriculum Overview

5

I CHOSE THIS COURSE AS IT IS ONE OF THE MOST PRISTIGIOUS COURSE THAT ONE CAN CHOOSE. ALSO IT'S DEMAND IN THE MARKET IS HIGH AND I BELIEVE IT TO PROVIDE ME WITH A SECURE FUTURE. WE HAVE 2 SEMESTERS IN OUR COURSE . I CAN'T REALLY SAY ABOUT THE DIFFICULTY LEVEL AS I HAD NOT HAVE MY EXAMS YET. THE COURSE HELPS ME UNDERSTAND THE REAL MARKET OF DEMAND AND SUPPLY BETTER.

Internships Opportunities

4

PROVIDES A WIDE RANGE OF INTERNSHIP FACILITIES THROUGH ITS ACTIVE PLACEMENT CELL AND INTERNSHIP CELL AS WELL AS INDIVIDUAL SOCIETIES . STUDENTS FROM SECOND YEAR CAN APPLY. COMPANIES LIKE EY, KPMG ETC. AND START UPS IN DIFFERTENT FIELDS COME. MANY OF THESE ARE PAID WITH STIPENDS RANGING FROM 5000 TO 15000 PER MONTS. PCELL ORGANUZES RESUME BUILDING WORKSHOPS, NETWORKING EVENTS TO HELP STUDENTS SECURE THESE ROLES.

Placement Experience

5

RAMJAS HAS AN ACTIVE PLACEMENT CELL THAT STARTS INVITING STUDENTD FROM 5TH SEMESTER ONWARDS. FIRMS SUCH AS DELOITTE , EY, KPMG ETC REGULARLY RECRUIT FOR MULTIPLE ROLES IN AUDIT , FINANCE , ETC. AVERAGE PACKAGE HOVERS ABOUT 4-6 LPA. ROUGHLY 35-40% OF FINAL YEAR SECURE ON CAMPUS OPPORTUNITIES. AFTER THIS I PLAN ON GOING FOR MA. ECO (HONS).

Fees and Financial Aid

THE YEARLY FEES IS 16098 . MY BATCHMATES SHARE THE SAME FEE. THE COLLEGE . UNIVERSITY FEES 10000. OTHER CHARGES IF 5000. TOTAL YEARLY FEES 16000. COMPLETE I.E. 3 YEARS IS 48000 PROVIDES ALOT OF SCHOLORSHIPS FOR THE PEOPLE WHO NEED IT AND DESREVE IT.

Campus Life

5

THE CAMPUS LIFE IS VERY VIBERANT WITH MULTIPLE EVENTS CONDUCTED BY VARIOUS SOCIETIES REGULARLY TAKING PLACES APART FROM THE FESTS PER YEAR. OUR LIBERARY ALSO HAS A WIDE VARIETY OF BOOKS AND JOURNAL TO READ. THE INFRASTRUCTURE OF MY CLASS IS NOT THE BEST. SPORTS ROOM IS PROVIDED TOO.

Admission

I ALSO GOT ADMITTED IN XAVIER'S KOLKATA BEFORE THIS BUT CHOSE RAMJAS OVER THAT COLLEGE. I CHOSE THIS AS I GOT ADMITTED IN THE NORTH CAMPUS AND THAT DU HAS A BETTER WORLDWIDE STANDING AND PROVIDES MORE EXPOSURE . ALSO XAVIER'S IS A COLLEGE WHILE DU IS A UNIVERSITY. FOR GETTING ADMITTED IN THIS COLLEGE YOU WILL HAVE TO GIVE CUET EXAM WITH A COMBINATION OF 5 SUBJECTS AT MOST AND SCORE MORE THAN THE CUTOFF PROVIDED.

Faculty

4

THE FACULTY IS VERY APPROCHABLE BUT THE NUMBER OF FACULTY PROVIDED FOR THE DELECTIVE SUBJECTS IS LESS. THATS WHY I DIDNT LIKE THE FACULTY FOR THE ELECTIVES. THE FACULTY OF MAJOR SUBJECTS ARE NICE. I HAVE'NT HAD MY EXAMS YET SO I CAN'T REALLY SAY ABOUT THE DIFFICULTY LEVEL.

Night Life

4

MY COLLEGE DID NOT PROVIDE WITH HOSTEL FACILITIES THIS YEAR FOR SAFETY CONCERNS OF THE HOSTEL INFRASTRUCTURE. BUT THE COLLEGE DO PROVIDE US WITH GYM , CANTEEN , AND LIBERARY . SOME OF THE FAMOUS HANGOUTS ARE OUTSIDE THE COLLEGE BUT NEAR IT . THESE INCLUDES SOME TEA AND MAGGIE POINT, DOSA POINTS ETC.

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course i am engaged is BA HONOURS ENGLISH in DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI, the course offered is comprehensive, interesting and detailed. The faculty of English honours department is fully supportive of the students, the faculty members do not just give theory or bookish knowledge but also help us improve our communication in English language. We have studied many areas of literature within the course offered- ROMANTIC LITERATURE, EUROPEAN LITERATURE, INDIAN LITERATURE, AMERICAN LITERATURE, DALIT LITERATURE AND EVEN REGIONAL LITERATURE TRANSLATED IN ENGLISH. The teachers also continuously conduct tests and examinations for improving the academics of the students

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is really very interesting. It keeps up with our expectations. Involves both practical and theoretical aspects to make sure that we are able to face the real world. Also, with the help of the guidance that we get from teachers we're able to ace both the aspects. The examinations also are based on applications, thus, helping us to enhance ourselves in all possibilities.

The curriculum was overall good and being a economics honours courses it was challenging at times. The course offers many things for students interms of their further academic pursuits or any placement they are looking for. Talking about the areas of improvement and teaching methods there are none. The exams of the respective subject are to happen. They take test 1 , test 2 and there is final exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
