Course Curriculum Overview

5

Course is very wide covers all important aspects of economics and mathematics methods that are used in computing various economic theories. Overall, because of brilliant teaching methods, the course feels much more easier.

Internships Opportunities

4

The internship season has almost begun(it's end of September) and our CVs are almost done and vetted by the placement cell of SRCC. There are over 100+ internship offers to the students of our college, including some very famous companies like bain and company, Deloitte and BCG.

Placement Experience

5

As soon as 3rd year starts, companies come and hire candidates from college, so before your college ends you have a job. Although highest package was 36 lacks per annum but average somehow is around 10 lacks per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

In first year I paid around 33,000 as my fees. And in second year, I paid around 30,500. The difference in category students fees is just 150 rupees. There are various types of different scholarships, mainly need based.

Campus Life

5

My overall experience is really good, on campus life is very peaceful and full of opportunities in real world aspects. There is a very good sports complex in our college, we tend to play basketball and badminton. The infrastructure is good but could be better.

Admission

The admission process of my college is first you have to give cuet exam, for economics students maths is compulsory subject and for bcom students maths or accountancy is important/compulsory subjects of cuet. English or any language exam is required in both courses.

Faculty

5

So the faculty of our college is very prestigious, I'm economics honours student, so all of my faculty teachers are well qualified from prestigious institutions like delhi school of economics. The same is true with other department teachers.

Night Life

5

There's a college gym, which is affordable and good for beginners. The library is so good, my favourite place, fully aur conditioned and peaceful. There's hostel in campus as well, both of them are so good, the food the life everything.

Other Applied Colleges

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

The course is really very interesting. It keeps up with our expectations. Involves both practical and theoretical aspects to make sure that we are able to face the real world. Also, with the help of the guidance that we get from teachers we're able to ace both the aspects. The examinations also are based on applications, thus, helping us to enhance ourselves in all possibilities.

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
