It's a 4 years degree program for Electronics and telecommunication. The exams are conducted by Pune University every semester. There are 120 seats in Army institute of technology.60 seats for computer science,60 seats for Mechanical and 60 seats for Information Technology.

Placement record is among best in Pune region. Each and every student gets the opportunity for interview in multiple MNC and placement is above 90% Avery year. And average package is in range of 4-6 LPA. Computer science students almost get 100 % result in placements

There are two main events named Akriti which is basically cultural event and other one is Tech Akriti which is for Technical events.There are also intercollege events organized for Technical events named Tech Solutions.

Fee here is worthy of it.There is some variation in fee structure every year. It includes academic fee,hostel fee, laundry charges, wifi fee, personality development fee which also focus on soft skills. Placement security fee.

There is PM scholarship for retired army wards, and another is merit scholarship for meritorious students.the scholarship amount for PM scholarship is 40000 and merit scholarship is variable.There is also scholarship from Pune University as well.

There are cultural events organized every year. First event is fresher party for New comers then Akriti cultural events organized which includes sports events , cultural events like choreography,dandia, and all.There are all required labs for each departments. Library has all books for engineering. College has cricket ground and football ground, squash court, badminton court, TT court, Gym etc

Hostel is well structured which has all basic facilities. Cleanliness is the priority here. 24*7 power supply, It's a three floor building. Wifi connectivity is good.Hostel rooms are divided in singlets for single person , doublets for two and triplets for three students.Mess is awesome here provide mixture menu of North Indian dishes and South Indian as well.

There is an active alumni group spread globally which not only guides for career but also inform all the current job opportunity in the alumni group which is really helpful for those who are seeking job opportunities.

This college is only for Army wards.First you need to fall in merit set by AIT based on AIEEE ranking for 300 students. Then you need to get all the documents of your father showing Army Service for minimum 10 years.After verification you will be allotted a branch of engineering prior to fee submission.

Faculty is World class.Most of them are PhD Holder.College is headed by Director who himself is retired Army officer and a joint director of retired colonel rank. There is head of all departments called principal who is experienced faculty of this college and also served as HOD electronics and telecommunication.
