Remarks

All was good, nothing bad to explain college management - excellent, very experienced took care of everything very efficiently course completion/ exam. always timely Management always took care of workshops and other curricular activities all best placement.

Entrance Preview

IIT-JEE Entrance got 2543 AIR Rank I choose this course as compare to other because I love machines in relation to the admission process, i want there should not any interview and reservation, Admission should be fully based on the merit list.

Course Curriculum Overview

Totally based on the latest technology there are all PhD and fully committed faculty college and professor and course curriculum always focus on research.

Internships Opportunities

Internship facility provided by college was very helpful to learn, how to work in actual work condition, where production actually took placei learned lot there practically bajaj automata motor Bajaj Allianz, ITC with a stipend from Rs. 20000 to 35000 p. m.

Hostel facility is very good and is available for all the students in ist year it is on twin sharing basis from the first year onward it single room basisHostels are well maintained. NO EXTRA charges for a hostel, it is included in the fees is Rs. 50000 per sem

Very-very cooperative senior students, always happy to help and guide. Alumni network was very excellent/always provided guidance for the right company to choose in placement session and provided funds and sponsorship for good activities at college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Best college of uttrakhand

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

The feeling of being in IIT Roorkee

I didnt applied for any other colleges other than some iits which were iit bombay, kanpur, roorkee, guwahati. Just these four and nothing because i got a decent rank in JEE Adv 2025. No i didnt get rejection from any college with my rank in jee main and advanced 2025 The admission process is straight like 1) JEE main 2) JEE Advanced 3) Josaa counselling Cutoff for top seven iits is higher than all other iits neans that you cant get into top seven just by qualifying jee advanced, you must have a good rank....Read More

IIT ROORKEE - A SCRUPULOUS REVIEW

I took part in jossa councelling and got it . I was happy with any of seven old iits . In better way , i would be happy in going any top iit. Moreover i choose it because of it's weather and location. Rest all things are similar to all top iits. Nothing is less in iit roorkee. You have to give jee main then jee advanced. IIT Roorkee - The complete story

I had 4 main options in hand after JEE - BSc Physics in IISC Bangalore (I had cleared KVPY), Electrical engineering in IIT Indore, EPH in IIT Roorkee, and Computer Science in Nit Trichy. I did not choose IISC, as I wasnt sure whether I wanted my career to be in research. My coaching faculties advised me not to take an NIT when I was getting a top 7 IIT. It was a tough choice choosing between EE in IITI, and EPH in IITR. However, at the end, I choose Roorkee because of its legacy, better facilities, and a calmer environment.
