GEU needs no introduction!

Our course doesn't just have syllabus but industrial training program too. It's an amazing college and industrial tie-ups have made our course more comprehensive than ever. So, when our placements happen we are already ready as our course teaches us not just engineering but also how to be industrial ready as well.

From DRDO to Tech Mahindra students of our batch have been sent for 3 months long intenrships to these companies. It is impossible to find Internships there unless you have recommendations from university and our university provides us with that. Also 20-25k stipend is also offered to us for the same.

Oracle, Microsoft, DeShaw and almost every company which needs IT services have looked upon GEU because we are trained that way. This is the reason our median has gone up and this year was a breakout year for placements for GEU as over 15-20 students were hired for packages of over 40 LPA.

GEU is best for engineering and even though Law was my first choice I took this course. The fees is 5 lakhs a year and it is high but GEU deserves what they charge because, academics, faculties, facilities and placements all are so good that I don't mind having that kind of fees by Graphic Era University, Dehradun.

Our college has a new tech campus now and it is connected through a tunnel from the main campus. The labs are still in the main campus and sonshuffling through i tunnel is how we reach there. Classes though are held in Campus 2 which is right opposite gate number 2 of main campus. From Diwali to Holi every festival is celebrated and also, we have an annual fest bigger than any named GRAFEST.

I am from Delhi and thus, DTU was also in my mind. However, i also wanted to explore and try a new city. So, I had confirmation from DTU but because I wanted to be sure about placements and all, GEU is way ahead of DTU and that made me take admission here as placements are guaranteed here and that in the companies i grew up watching.

So many faculties but all teach here with same intent and same kind of demeanor. All of them treats us like babies and are all-rounders. They will mould themselves as sometimes they become strict teachers while sometimes they become friends. So all the roles they can play and that is why I love them the most.

Night life in Clement Town which is where our university is there till 12 am as post that everything is closed. IST is nearby and also we have amazing cafes in our area. We now also have a couple of pool parlours and also petrol pump right in our vicinity.
