The college is good overall.some things can be improved like the food quality provided in mess especially. The placement is also good and the department heads are very helpful in every situation.thats all.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is same as being followed in iits. So, one must have to work hard to get good marks as good cgpa is essential for good placements. The exam is also the same i.e. one mid sem and then end sem.
Placement Experience
Placements are generally good. Some IT based companies visited campus this year and collectively took 70-150 students at a time. Some other companies also visited the campus like Mu sigma, L&T, vedanta etc.
College Events
There are various cultural and technical events that takes place in the college. The technical event is called aayam where many competition take place like robotics, and various fun events are also organised. The cultural event moksha is one of the biggest events in North India
Fee Structure And Facilities
For general category students with income greater than five lakhs the tutionfees is approx 1,25,000 per year. For students with one lakh to five lakh income feea is one third of total For students below one lakh tution fees is zero
Fees and Financial Aid
For uttar Pradesh students there is Uttar Pradesh government scholarship available. For bihar students there is also scholarships available. For home state students Tripura provides a good amount of money.
Campus Life
There is a new sports complex that has opened in nit Agartala recently. The complex has all types of sports one can think of. A cricket ground. A football ground. A gym etc. The labs are also well equipped.
Hostel Facilities
Very good hostel , the new hostel has just opened so the first year students will be given the new hostel. The hostel have 7 floors and two lifts are provided in the hostel for the benefit of students. All other hostels are also well maintained
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors are very helpful. There is no ragging policy in the campus so overall the relationship between senior and junior is like brothers. And our alumni network is flourishing all over the world.
Admission
Firstly,a student has to qualify jee mains exam with a good rank. Then apply through josaa counceling or csab counceling.Then he must report here in 7th round or in special round to take admission in any of the branches.
Faculty
As in every college there are some good teachers and bad teachers too. So in this college too some teachers are experts in their subjects and some are average. But you have to study here on your own. The teachers can only guide you.
