Course Curriculum Overview
The course syllabi is according to the University of Jammu (JU). You to appear in the exam every 6 months at the end of the semester for semester end exam. Also during the course time you to appear for mid semester test (MST) twice.
Placement Experience
The college organises the placement drives for students of final year every year from many popular firms whose representatives come to the college & select the students as per theit procedure for their company. The college has also just singned MoU's with many firms for the internship program of students.
College Events
Number of events are celebrated in college during the course time. Every week almost 3-4 events taje place in college auditorium. The college administration has also constituted culture clubs of every branchbto organise various events. Every year college annual fest takes place for 2-3 days in which we have visit from famous celebrities. a
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is as proposed by the University of Jammu (JU) & Government of Jammu & Kashmir & is very feasible & not expensive at all considering the fee structure of other colleges. Also few charges are refunded at the completion of course.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have no exact knowledge about the scholarship provided by the college but their is the scheme of fee concessions for the meritorious student provided by jammwal group of educational institutions (JGEI) which runs this college.
Campus Life
The college has the great focus on extracurricular activities including sports and other activities. Every year annual sports meet is organized in college in which various sports like cricket, volleyball, football, badminton, table-tennis, chess, carrom etc are played.
Hostel Facilities
I haven't opted for hostel but according to my friends who stays in college hostel says that college hostel are good. The rooms are good & the food provided is also good. The warden at the hostel are also friendly.
Alumni/Alumna
Senior students are very nice to juniors. Their is no chane of ragging inside or outside the college. The college administration is strict in this case. Their are various anti-ragging committees in college. The seniors are very friendly with juniors.
Admission
You to appear in JKCET (Jammu and kashmir Common Entrance Test) entrance to get admission in ycet on the basis of marks obtained. The more you score in JKCET, more are your chances to ge t admission in Yogananda College of engineering and technology (YCET)
Faculty
Good. The faculty available is good , also there at the start of the session more new faculty is engaged. The faculty is the good mixture of experienced & young teacher. The methods of teaching is also good.
