Likes
- My first liking is the new tech campus as our facilities most of them are now available there and we can say we have our own seperate campus.
- The university parking as it is free and also we can park our vehicles over there during vacations as well.
- Faculties are a boon as they are Gods own people in terms of possessing knowledge.
Dislikes
- It's the campus size and number of students as campus is small and the number of students are quite high.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our academics are strong as we get industries projects every semester from second year onwards. Around 15 lectures a week and then weekend off. However daily practice things are given as in CSE that is most important thing. Also, students are sent for 3-4 months internships in the final year to get exposure and knowledge of corporate working.
Internships Opportunities
From PayPal to Tech Solutions to many international companies which operates in cities like Pune and Hyderabad is where we are sent directly for intenrships from our university. Stipend of 20-40k depending on our skills is provided.
Placement Experience
McKinsey, Oracle, NVIDIA, Google, TCS, Deloitte and many more come here for placements. Around 15-20 students in 2025 had placements worth over 40 lakhs and four students managed to grab placements worth 50 lakhs or more.
Fees and Financial Aid
Myself Lolita and I am pursuing B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering from GEU. One of the best private universities and is ranked in top 50 universities of India. Fees are slightly high as not many scholarships also for the outsiders and thus i end up paying 5 lakhs a year for academics. Rest all expenses are still reasonable as Dehradun isn't that expensive.
Campus Life
We can now directly go to our campus which is opposite Gate Number 2 of Central Campus. So, basically Clement Town has different different buildings and likewise our tech building is off campus and is connected to main campus via a tunnel. Our university has events gallore and the main one is GRAFEST which is held in March mostly.
Admission
In most cases it is direct but University also has its own entrance exam as well. Even other entrance scores are evaluated and based on that scholarships are also provides. So, I took admission Directly as there are around 800 seats for CSE and students can get admission easily here if they have over 80 or more in PCM in 12th.
Faculty
Our faculties are definitely the best researchers as most theories have their publications. So, more than notes they also shared the research work for the same which they have concluded after years and years. Ab urge of belonging is what they provide us and they have been our strength and proper alma matter since the day I have joined this university.
Night Life
Our university has mostly all the facilities from a badminton court to football ground. Students are selected as per their skills in the university team and are also taken for competitions. Our university gym is also huge and there's just one canteen inside the campus but odd campus we have over 100 cafes in the vicinity of our university.
