RIT is doing many wonderful things for its students and my suggestion for improvement is they should organize more training sessions like industry 4.0.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course Curriculum is according to the pattern followed by Uttarakhand Technical University. It is completely technical syllabus which is directly relevant to the needs of industry today. RIT also offers its students time to time training options to develop the skills in them.
Placement Experience
95% placement record makes this college one of the best in this region. Appreciation must be given to the placement cell for the efforts.
College Events
Annual Sports festival "SPORTECH" is organized in the month of October every year. Annual Cultural fest "ANUGOONJ" is organized in the month of April and technical fest "TECHNO MAX" is also celebrated. Also, there is Halloween party, DJ nights, Garbha night etc are an infamous list of RIT events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Roorkee Institute of Technology charges 3,83,000 rupees from its students for B.tech course. This fee is for academics only, hostel charges are separate which is 63,000 rs for non-ac room and 93,000 rs for ac rooms. There is one more option of 3-seater ac room and they charge 83,000 rs for it.
Fees and Financial Aid
On the basis of merit, Roorkee Institute of Technology provides scholarship to its students. Scholarship plan can rebate up to 100% on tution fees.
Campus Life
Life at the campus is very entertaining. Students are from different places brings something different and good culture to the campus. After 4:30 you can go anywhere on campus like cafe is there to hang out with friends, separate fields for different sports.
Hostel Facilities
There is all kind of facilities available in hostel-like 24-hour electricity with backup, water facility, Vegetarian and Non-vegetarian mess option is there, WiFi facility, Indoor and outdoor sports facility. RIT is charging 63,000 rs for non-ac rooms and for ac rooms, the amount is 93,000 rs.
Alumni/Alumna
All the seniors and alumni are connected through facebook pages and different WhatsApp groups. RIT has created an online society for its alumni to stay connected.
Admission
I have given JEE exam and I got 59000 all India rank. I filled the online registration form of Roorkee Institute Technology. I received a phone call from admission cell of this college, I visited the campus and on the basis of my all India rank I easily got the admission.
Faculty
Faculty here in RIT I would give them 10 on 10. They are well qualified and have a huge amount of experience against their names in the education and corporate sector as well. They give their 100% in teaching us and develop the technical skills in each and every student to make them true professionals.
