- The network issue in the campus makes it difficult to contact in the times of need .
- Also in my opinion some of the canteen food options need to be upgraded like they don't taste good.
- The never ending construction work fills the air up with dust particles makes it difficult to sometimes breath so I think they must finish that quickly
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is always a moderate course because it's maths Hons it has pure mathematics concepts not just questions but also the theoretical mathematics which makes it somewhat tough but yes if you have interest you can definitely ace the course ... It all depends on your interest and how well you are learning.
Internships Opportunities
The placement cell brings many internship opportunities for almost all the roles and responsibilities companies conducts interviews and group discussions to select individuals. Also some companies give projects and tasks to complete for the selection process.
Placement Experience
The placements of my college are moderate as the average package is ?6.5 lakhs and the highest package is around ?23.02 lakhs . Many prestigious companies like delloite, accenture have held various placement sessions in DRC and it's overall a good to place for companies to get high skilled students. The placement cell is very active too which makes it possible for our college to get many internships and placements opportunities.
Fees and Financial Aid
As a Maths Hons student I will have to pay around ?1.11 lakhs for three year program . SC ST students have to pay minimal exam fees. Also there are many scholarships available like NSP, DU merit cum means, and delhi govt schemes.
Campus Life
The overall campus is very vibrant, and brings you many new experiences of life . The annual fest called Manjari keeps the entertainment bar very high and also the other colleges around the north campus and their fests makes it all a very energetic place to enjoy in . The education resources are easily available in nearby stationary shops. There are many societies, clubs and cells in DRC which makes students learn new skills and meet new people to grow and develop.
Admission
I placed this college at 28th rank asy first preference was to do economics hons but fortunately or unfortunately I got this course + college combo . My aim was same as most of the commerce+maths students which is SRCC but I got the college just beside it which is DRC but now I'm okay with whatever I have got this college is also in the north campus and all the other top colleges like hansraj hindu Miranda ramjas are near to this which makes the networking very wide ranged and u get to know different people from different parts of India even from the world so it's overall a very new and exciting experience. Mostly the cutoffs go higher for top ranked colleges like 900+/1000 for colleges like SRCC Hindu and Hansraj.
Faculty
Faculty members are very helpful and nice . Since I'm in maths and most of my sec vac ge subjects are of commerce department so I have learnt from the maths and commerce department's faculty and both of them are very kind and they also teach very well.
Night Life
I haven't spend the night in the college campus till now as I'm a first year day scholar student but what I've heard from my hostelier friends is that the hostel is also very nice and cool place , the food there is also very good and overall it's a nice place.
