What Students Say
Likes
- First of all it's one of the cheapest college in the world
- It's government so they provide all kind of lab facility and training needed
- They provide industrial tour and internships
Dislikes
- Faculty is very mean. You are your own saviour
- You can't negotiate attendance due to it's government college tag 75%+ is necessary even with medical certificate you will need 60% then they will fill your exam form otherwise year back
- It is a new college opened in 2021 not like other bihar engineering college which are much older and has better package than this
Course Curriculum Overview
It was intensively revised in 2024 just so they could give us aptitude of a IIT graduate or we can pursue higher studies in a reputated institute where we not feel dumb or imposter that's what our math faculty has told us till now and I'd say they were correct I did feeled some changes curriculum prepares you for real world but only lab curriculum if you think theory is also good then you are living in a delusion as for methods to improve is keep faculty in check and see if they are not misusing there power The frequency of exams are good for students they take 2 exams in each sem 1 mid and 1 final so it will be 16 exam main problem is they ask for attendance too much
Internships Opportunities
As I said I am a first year first sem student so I dont know that much but I have heard my seniors they start providing internships and industrial visits in third sem , research paper writing in seventh and eighth sem, projects from first sem but you will present in tech fest and which happens two to four times in a year as for stipend I don't know whether they provide it or not but
Placement Experience
We do get campus visit from some start ups and mass recruiters and highest package was 7 lakh while average is 4 lpa I don't know this much I am still a first year but as per our faculty and I missed orientation so of course I don't these things yet but I am trying to figure out as well
Fees and Financial Aid
Admission :- 3500 rs ( in this they had included library charge, id charge, tuition fees, admission, e.t.c) Exam Registeration fees :- 2100 rs ( for registering our id on beu) Exam from fill up :- 7400rs ( they charged this much for both sems)
Campus Life
If we forget about professors then they are crazy about fests, tech fest, hackathon, debate, game, cultural program things like these I'd say it's average but labs have all the equipments Inter college is fierce and fun seniors are not crazy for but still they offer all kind of games in campus There are groups but barely anybody knows them and seniors are very they are not into ragging they help so much it's crazy
Admission
None. It was my last choice I didn't get good enough rank Yes. 37 out of 38 college rejected me I got this college in mop up round cuz my rank was 5000 in 2 lakh though I was pure general category that's why the least they could go for was 1000 for general and it wasn't me You could go with jee mains counselling or you could get into with bcece exam the went there with bcece exam admission process is simple you just need your certs, identity, medical fitness, residency of the state and some form available on counselling site and anti ragging, your photos 12× , i think I am forgetting some but yeah that's about it and eligibility is 12 passed pcm or pcmb stream I'd say go with ugmac counseling (jee mains percentile)
Faculty
Faculty student ratio is nice I believe there are 50 to 60 professors in our college although they are not very approachable alway giving threats to student The best faculty would be engineering math - 1 mr. Nitesh and mr. Nargndra because they were helping and will manage your attendance they didn't talked rudely if you could not solve a question it was for our workshop lab professor I hate our physics and bee professor and 1st sem hod all they did was bark never helped student never talked to any of us nicely always giving threats Exams are super easy they ask concept based question that's why some student get back in most easiest subject and for course I'd say it's more focused towards us pursuing higher studies
Night Life
It's beautiful though we have gym in hostel and I don't live in hostel so I don't know there are some gays eho harasses boys so we stay away from hostel and library is quite and loaded with books of different writers and publication public area is clean and has good lighting it's nice to sit there you can relax there and it really helps to manage your stress which is a very fantastic thing and rp sir's yoga session are mind boblling I believe it's best to visit at night due to it's cool and calm vibes
