Course Curriculum Overview
Our curriculum has everything as its core engineering and besides that we have all the modern traits of CSE. From AI to Data Science to Cyber security systems and building both hardware and software of the same, we have it all. Exams are tough here as faculties don't provide any form of freebies to us.
Internships Opportunities
Intenrships we were given the role of junior coders where we worked with senior members and help them with their initial task. We have been promised that next time we will be given the full responsibility so I am just waiting for my next intenrships.
Placement Experience
Microsoft, Amazon and apart from Netflix and Facebook all the top IT companies which have domestic and global presence were here for placements. I loved the fact that we were given an opportunity to even intenrships with some of them directly from University.
Fees and Financial Aid
GEU is the best in Dehradun and I took admission here after checking about all the universities like DIT and UPES and BFIT. No one is as good as ours and fees of almost all these universities for CSE is same and that is 5 lakhs a year. So I felt GEU is the best option and hence I took admission here.
Campus Life
Tech fest and annual fest both are of top level here as tech fest sees AI and Robotics in full swing with cultural fest see students enjoying to the moon. So, I don't see any issues with fests and also infrastructure even though little unorganised but beautiful like none other. So all in all GEU has infrastructure to relive the best campus life.
Admission
I applied at UPES, and DIT. Also, I was invited from both as UPESAT and DIT was ready to offer direct admission. However GEU Assesment Test was not tough but I cleared with distinction and made it to the cut-off list then and there itself.
Faculty
At GEU faculties are definitely the top foothold because they are not just good at their stuffs but always bring something fresh and hot to the table. Also, our faculties are new age people so they know very well what the current world scenario is. Thus less in experience but know all the traits of modern engineering.
Night Life
If you are studying in Dehradun and you have the option of night out then instead of roaming in Dehradun, one should hop to Haridwar, Rishikesh, Chaar Dhaam and Mussoorie. Even there are a lot of trecking places near Dehradun and all at a distance of one night.
