Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course is very relevant , as history makes us acknowledgr about the past knowledge and through that we can also learn to avoid the mistakes that very done in past. Some improvements also can be done in course such as including more practical knowledge through visits at historical place. The difficulty level of exam is also moderate that student can balance is properly

Placement Experience

4

Good enough placement are provided by our college with ans annual average package of 8lakhs. Some companies that visit our college for placement is Mothers dairy, Adani, Amazon, etc. My plan after getting degree is to pursue reserach work.

Fees and Financial Aid

Talking about fees, it is very minimal and affordable for all the students. The totally yearly fees is 15000 which includes all the acdemic and other things such sports , library, etc. It's good. Even fee concession is also available for students having lower annual income. Hence such fee structure is good.

Campus Life

5

The overall experience is good. Socially people in our college are very helpful and decent so it is very easy to connect with them. There are lotsvof annual festivals at our college, one such is Riwaz-ae-Tarikh , which is annual flagship event of history department. Thus social and extra curricular activites are good.

Admission

The admission process to my college was through CUET. Honestly I didn't applied for other colleges as because comparing to other colleges, the crowd in our college is decent and extra curriculum is also good enough in pur college. This thing made to opt for this college only.

Faculty

5

The faculty member at our college is good. Each and every concept is explained very carefully and insightfully. The faculty to student ratio would be around 1:10. The best faculty i found is Vikram sir, reason was his style of teaching. There are total 2 exam one internal and external exam. It is very relevant to curriculum.

Interview Experience

5

No, i didn't faced any interview or group discussion. The admission process was solely based on CUET exam. It was entrance test through which i got the admission in our college. I prepared for the exams through self study.

Night Life

4

The nightlife around me is nothing much as living in Pg we are restricted for this. But hearing from people the nightlife at college hostel is really enjoyable and its fun to have such experience of nightlife at college hostel.

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is really very interesting. It keeps up with our expectations. Involves both practical and theoretical aspects to make sure that we are able to face the real world. Also, with the help of the guidance that we get from teachers we're able to ace both the aspects. The examinations also are based on applications, thus, helping us to enhance ourselves in all possibilities.

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
