Course Curriculum Overview

5

so I chose my course based on my interest in school which was mainly mathematics, and there is a lot of maths involved in economics honours. So I thought that this would be a nice fit for me and it's the most relevant course especially when it comes to data science and analytics

Internships Opportunities

5

so in our college, the placement cells holds an internship fair every year for all your students ranging from 1st to 3rd year. Anyone could avail an internship from the internship fair. The company is which, are usually the same which come for placements like, Deloitte, KPMG, et cetera, this stipend can usually range most of the times. There is no stipend.

Placement Experience

5

eligible for placements in the last year, which is essentially the third or fourth year there are a lot of companies which visit like Deloitte EY KPMG Accenture etc. THE HIGHEST PACKAGE IS APPROXIMATELY 12 LPA AND THE AVERAGE IS 6 TO 7 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

my fees for my course, BA economic honours was 22,000, including the tuition fees, caution fees, registration fees, development fees, and all the other compulsory charges which may be there during the course

Campus Life

5

The name of the our college is Nexus, and it is the fastest for all cultural events the library is very accessible in terms of books and journal the technological within the classrooms are very nice as each classroom has a projector and a digital board as far as sports are concerned, there is a football ground volleyball court, badminton court to tennis and a cricket field. There are a plethora of clubs from ranging to cultural clubs to the professional ones.

Hostel Facilities

5

I don't live in the hostel, so I do not know the exact details as none of my friends live there either, but I think that is a basic facility then there is a mess which provides three times of food and it's quite affordable as well

Admission

I knew that I wanted to go to Delhi University because of its close proximity house. Also, the fact that it is a government College. I really did not want to spend a lot of money on private colleges. I applied to one or two private colleges and I did get accepted to Narsi Munji, but I chose Venkateshwara over it. The eligibility criteria for Delhi University depends mainly on the course there is a minimum passing level that you must have in your board exam examinations, and then there are some subject criteria depending on which course you wish to opt for.

Faculty

5

The faculty is pretty helpful and approachable. You can approach them even after classes and they will help you out with anything. You need the quiet accomplished as well and the evil to teach very nicely and everything is very understandable. Thanks to them.

Interview Experience

1

no, that wasn't any personal interview or group discussion. It was solely on the basis of merit which you got on the CET examination, which was the entrance exam for Delhi University. That's it. And it was fairly easy.

Night Life

5

The night life is quite safe. I would say I am a day scholar, so I do not know the exact night life, but in South campus. Most of the area around are just PG's and flats and cafes, especially in Satta Niketan, so it's quite safe environment, as it's made of student body completely.

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is really very interesting. It keeps up with our expectations. Involves both practical and theoretical aspects to make sure that we are able to face the real world. Also, with the help of the guidance that we get from teachers we're able to ace both the aspects. The examinations also are based on applications, thus, helping us to enhance ourselves in all possibilities.

The course offers many things for students interms of their further academic pursuits or any placement they are looking for. Talking about the areas of improvement and teaching methods there are none. The exams of the respective subject are to happen. They take test 1 , test 2 and there is final exams.

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
