- You have to change the college after completing each of semester. Due to this factor, you will get good exposure and have to seen many historic campus of the University of Delhi.
- A thing I liked is the easy access to your assignment pages via the Pragyan portal. Other than that, you will receive very major update on your personal device via messages.
- You can attend the offline classes at your assigned campus. The professors are friendly and will feel happy teaching you.
Dislikes
- Exam centers for student are not suitable due to lack of facilities.
Course Curriculum Overview
I will rate the course at Delhi Univeristy 8 out of 10. As a student, I'm receiving offline study materials via the post, however, you have to pay around 500 rupees for the books and notes when filling the fees every year.
Internships Opportunities
There are multiple offline and online groups you can join to grow experince in varuous fields. Also, after 3 or 5 semesters, you will start to get notifications of offline and online internships with good pay.
Fees and Financial Aid
I joined the University of Delhi in 2024 for BA Hons in Political Science. As I was a working professional I was looking to study further in distance mode. Therefore, I joined the course via the site of School of Open Learning (SOL). For the BA Hons in Political Science, I have paid around 10k with weekends offline classes and study material. The fees structure is quite low as compare to many typicall private or semi govermenment colleges. As I am general category student, so I'm not aware about the reservation thing. Moreover, the course is of 3 years can go upto 5 years. So you have to pay, 10k each year if your are getting promoted to the next year after clearing all the acedemic credits eligibility. If you failed the exams in first year, you just have to pay the amount for reappearing. To conclude, the fees structure is still the same even after 2 years.
Campus Life
At Delhi University, it is easy to explore multiple cultures because students come from all over the India to graduate in this organization. Also, you can indulge yourself in multiple programs and cultural societies.
Admission
The main reason to choose the DU SOL for persuing the BA Hons in Political Science was the affordabl fees. Also, I'm a working professional, therefore, the weekends offline classes could help to work and study together.
Faculty
Faculty members are good in nature and helping towards the students. You can also dial the numbers given on the DU SOL website to contact the faculty to do enqiries regarding your course, classes and exams.
Interview Experience
No. I didn't attend any group discussion, interview or written test for the admission. The admission was fully based on the merit of 12th board exam. You just need to fulfill the typical eligibility criteria for Open Learning.
Night Life
Nightlife is good and safer nowdays. You can go to clubs and restaurants in the earby vecinity. Other than that, If you are studing in the colleges of North Campus, it is very to access multiple malls and cinemas.
Other Applied Colleges
DPG Degree College | BCA
I was unable to afford the fees there. Other than that, the campus was not that friendly.
