Remarks

Overall, I will recommend the college to be best as what I am today is because of that college. The college was more based on living the life practically and i hope that is the need of the hour. The number of practical session conducted were more from sub

Entrance Preview

I gave the BVP exam to qualify for the engineering which i did clear and got the opportunity to study at "Amplify Mindware" college at katraj. The reason for opting this program is the curriculum that was offered over there. It was purely based on the need of the today.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum was among the best industry standards. The course had almost every language which is used in industry now a days. I know too many languages may confuse someone, it but also exposes you to various languages and there on you can choose your interest and move on.

Internships Opportunities

I did my internship with HCL and this is among the best brands to work with. I do not remember the exact amount offered during the internship but it was somewhere between 5 to 7k.

Placement Experience

4

I mentioned above, I did the internship was HCL and later on they hired me and was hired at a package of 3.5 lakhs initially. Lot of companies visited the campus and almost everyone was hired by the college end.

College Events

4

We used to have various fest regarding the technical education and fest related to other fun activities line diwali mela, ID mela, Christmas day celebration.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Now a days, colleges and hospitals are the places where one spends the most. As per my thinking, the fee structure was little bit on the higher side and could have been reduced.

Fees and Financial Aid

I never availed the same and have no information available regarding the same.

Campus Life

4.5

Life on campus was just awesome. I just cannot really forgot my college, the college was loaded with extra curricular activities. Be it sports, debates, arts, everything was available over there.

Hostel Facilities

4

No matter what we always cry on the facilities provided by the college or company. As per my side, the hostel infrastructure was good but yes the food needed some improvement. It been long time I am sure the quality might have improved till now.

Alumni/Alumna

Few of us are still connected, many attended my marriage as well . Although in today's world u do not get much time to meet but yes we do meet. Yes, there is a requirement to meet our colleagues, shared ideas among each other. By this time, everyone must have mastered some field and it is always advisable to share the experience and this actually becomes a add on to ur life.

Exam Structure

The exam structure included both practical and written examination. We were provided with enough break between the examination to prepare for the next exam. We were not given so much of pressure.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty was very nice and were loaded with knowledge, you can basically call them "Knowledge Trucks". They were so vastly experienced and they could identity the weak zone of every student and accordingly design a work plan for them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Biotechnology because it is a multidisciplinary field. We get to study not only topics related to biotechnology but also biochemistry, bio physics, bio informatics, bio statistics, etc. Mostly everything that is essential for future exams is taught during the span of 3 years. The topics of the units are taught in depth but the questions asked during exams are comparatively easy as to what all we studied. The frequency of the exam is, 1 internal exam which consists of both mcqs and written exam, the semester exam for each semester and practical exams for each subject. If u have studied then you will be able to attempt the questions.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.
