I am actually satisfied with my college, and I proud to be an NITCian. It is one of the India's best colleges. In my point of view college vis near to my home and the traveling is much easier. 4 year of experience are building my career in much better platform.

NIT CALICUT is a deemed University under MHRD and the curriculum is much different from normal Colleges, highly qualified and experienced faculties are continually changing according to current technology and services. Value added courses are providing with high strength of industrial knowledge and skills to the students. Which is helping them to accure experience for the industry from the college itself.

I got placed in an core MNC company related to my branch. And more than 90% of students got the placement offer from various companies. Few students opt higher studies like m.tech from various IIT and NIT , and MBA from different IIM's and other best business schools in India, some are opt MS from foreign universities.

Tathva- second largest technical festival in South India which includes technical workshops ,exhibitions , events , lecture series by internationally highly profiled persons. Industrial exhibition, auto expo, entrepreneurship program, innovative solutions and exhibitions etc. Ragam - south India's one of the largest student organising cultural festivals. Which includes various cultural and art activities and competitions participants from all over the colleges in South India and other NIT's and IIT's. Cultural nights are conducted with indias most popular singers or stage artists and international dj and bands.

Feasible. And able to get scholarship for the fully amount of fees. The scholarships are various types and it is in accordance with the income level of students families , marks obtained by the students , academic excellence etc.scholarship are provided by government.

E-grands from government of Kerala, MCMS from central government. And various other scholarship are available. Also state bank of India is providing loans which is just near to the college. Also students can able to get loan from their home towns and the government has a provision in that and the interest rate is less than ordinary colleges.

Technical activities, students conducting workshops, invention centre, entrepreneurship area and slotes for making students own startups which provides economic and technical helps from the college, cultural clubs, music advance and art clubs, film club, club mathamatica, robotic club ,team unwired etc.

Hostel facilities are wonderful in my kind of perspectives. Different hostels for different year of students. Upto 3rd year four members rooms are common, also 2 member rooms there! In final year single rooms are proving. Food is much better comparing to other college hostels and it is cheep.

alumni network are strong and all of them are helpful in case of academics and placement offerings. The mentorship and guidance from alumnus are best in kind.and some of them are recruiting the students to their companies even.

All India engineering entrance examination, conducted by CBSE in 2011, and I secured a good all India rank in AIEEE. now it is turned into JEE Mains examination. At the time of my admission Mechanical engineering is the hot branch,and I got the same which is my favourite branch of study!

Highly qualified, mostly of them are aluminus of esteemed University in India like IIT's and IISC's and some are getting their PhD from some of the world's best Universities. They are motivating and helpful.
