Remarks

The college gives ample opportunities to you if you want to grab them. There are plenty of in campus companies that visit and provide placement offers to most of the students. The place being located at a naturally decent location amidst hills gives a nice environment to complete your graduation.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The Course Curriculum is up to date and the Exams are on the Continuous Assessment basis. There are two semesters in a year. Each semester has various theoretical and practical exams. Both internal and external.

Placement Experience

4

Placements are quite decent specially in Engineering department. Computer Science, IT, ECE being the top grabbers. Their are various companies that visit the campus all around the year to insure maximum placement of the students.

College Events

3.5

College has various cultural, sports and literature events throughout the year. Some of the hits include the College Fest named 'Yutopia', The Sports Fest named 'Sphurti' and plenty more. Quite many motivators and scientists keep om visiting the campus to engage the students in various activities and inspirational events of their interests.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is flexible and affordable for cosidrably average and above average families of India. There is a quota for Uttarakhand students where they get some relaxation in academic fees. The talented students can apply for scholarships as well.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are made available for Uttarakhand state students as the college is situated in this state. These students get some relaxation in their academic fees. Scholarships are also made available for those who have good marks in class 12th and high ranks in JEE exam. Although to continue with this scholarships advantage a student has to maintain a particular GPA in all the semesters.

Campus Life

3.5

Labs are satisfactory and as required, according to the number of students in any particular department Sports facilities include basketball, cricket , volleyball, football and indoor games including Table Tennis ,chess, carrom etc. Ample equipments and kits are made available for interested students

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostels are average. Not quite fancy, but all the basic facilities are available. Hostel security is good. And the campus being a wifi zone is a plus point. Hostels seats are limited and one gets to apply and grab the seats on the basis of the last semester marks.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are extremely helpful. The University has a fully interacting Alumini Group and networks all across the social media to interact and guide everyone. People share their achievements and guide the current students though these networks.

Admission

I took part in the counceling process in May 2015. Got admission on the basis if my 12th class percentage in Computer Science and Engineering branch. Admission was a smooth process. The University guides you through all the steps and gives regular updates using emails and phone calls. As the seats are limited one has to make early moves to grab the seat. The admission takes place on the basic of merit list that is prepared by considering 12th class percentage and the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) marks. Admission also takes place on the first come first serve basis, although there are various rounds of councelling. The average cut offs are quite decent. There are various departments and branches to choose from. Although the college is mostly known for it's Engineering courses.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty is well qualified and experienced. It supports the students all the way through. The teachers get regular feedback from students in the basis of which they keep on improving on their methods and content delivery.

The curriculum is highly relevant, focusing on practical knowledge for real-world prep, though more hands-on application and updated content would strengthen it. Exams occur 6 times yearly; they are tough but fair for the course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .
