Remarks

Good college I will recommend it to my friends. And also my brother was joined in the same college and he was completed his degree this year. And I recommend more people my college since it was good one.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is Good. The professors and non teaching facilities are also good. Exams will happen twice a year on semester basis. Exams will be conducted by the university of Madras. Then after a month they will publish the results.

Placement Experience

Job opportunities are good. Even I also got job in the campus interview. We have faculty called placement officer who is in charge for Placement opportunities in the college. They will provide trainings for Placement and there is no internship.

College Events

They will celebrate college day. Alumini day. Department functions like commerece department, Telugu department, Tamil department, Hindi department, English department, department of maths, department of History and etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

You need to pay fees twice in a year that to amount of twelve thousand and five hundred rupees with in a given date. If you fail to pay within that date you will be charged extra in the name of late fee.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship will be provided on the caste basis. SC caste students can apply for the scholarship and they will get it. For that you need to provide income certificate and proof of identity and you need to fill a form.

Campus Life

Extracurricular activities are good at this college. The staffs are always encourage to participate in the extra curricular activities like dance, adzap, mime, and other events. And in sports also they are encourage.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes! Seniors are good. They are like our brothers. And for alumni network we need to pay 300 ruppes at end of last semester to enroll our self for alumini meeting. Alumini meeting will be conducted at after two years of completing our degree.

Admission

By Merit List. I have applied for it and got the seat. College has both government aieded and self finance. I have choosen self finance. First you have to apply for the course. Then they will release list of the students selected.

Faculty

Faculty is too good at this college. They are very friendly and they will always encourage us to practicipate in extra curricular activities. And non teaching facilities are also good. They will always speak about life's moral.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

Strong academics, vibrant fests and supportive campus life at Hindu College

Hindu College was chosen over other options mainly because it is one of the top DU colleges for science and mathematics, with a strong academic reputation, good placements and still affordable government?college fees. While filling CUET preferences, colleges like Ramjas and Kirori Mal were also considered, but Hindu offered a better mix of campus environment, societies and B.Sc Maths reputation, so it was kept higher in the preference list. Admission is completely through CUET and the DU CSAS portal now; after the CUET result, course–college preferences are filled online, and seats are allotted in several rounds based on score, category and seat availability. The process is transparent and mostly online, but cut?offs for Hindu are very high, so a strong CUET score is necessary, especially for Maths Hons and popular courses. The admission process in Hindu College is through CUET entrance exam. But there are certain reservations and quotas for different eligible candidates. Apart from Hindu College, i applied for a admission in Chemistry hons course at Banaras Hindu University and Allahabad University and I got the confirmed admissions in both but I chose Hindu College over others bcz of its reputation, NIRF topper(NIRF 1 all over India),etc. No, I didn't get any rejection from any college i applied for.
