- I like that their programs were far better than the curriculums we follow in India.
Dislikes
- The placement cell is only helpful if you have previous internships of almost more than 1 or 2 years.
Campus Life
- There are a lot of campuses spread out in London based on their course offerings and facilities. There are several clubs like I was involved in gaming club, events and extracurriculars were almost every week we were having something new.
- The library is very good, a whole block just of books, if I could i would have stayed there forever.
Accommodation
- 12000 GBP was mine for the whole year. its usually measured in weeks, like 257 pounds for a week. There are uni-affiliated accommodations; otherwise, the University of London website also provides accommodations for its registered universities, which is far better as we get to interact with students from multiple universities.

Campus Life
- Queen Mary has one of the biggest campuses in london. The campus was very beautiful and each university building has different sections. Our campus included 3-4 cafeterias. The library also had different sections and the staff was very smooth with all the functionality.
- Campus also included a club-type area where all the fresher parties used to be conducted. Extracurricular activities like games, seminars, sports, etc., were conducted in a timely manner
Accommodation
- I used to stay off campus. I came to know about my accommodation through an online portal. My accommodation was in a central London zone. Challenges faced in my accommodation were sometimes the noise. But overall, the accommodation was a solid 4/5.
- The staff was helpful; the study area, the lawn and the courtyard – everything was up to date. The laundry area was always clean. Even the common area and lobby used to be very happening.

- When I was new in London, events and fests organized by the university were the icebreakers for me. I have met so many people through these events, made unforgettable memories, and made friends for life. There was a Diwali party and Holi organized by the university and the Indian club. DJ nights at Drapers. Drapers is our very own club.
- We have an e-library; we can browse it from anywhere and anytime we want, and I think that is one of the best things. We have group study rooms and private study rooms. My campus is located in Mile End, London.
- I think 50% of the batch secures the job within 6 months and approximately 90% in 3 years of graduation. The average salary range starts from 26000 GBP per year. Students find jobs in all kinds of ways where there is a will, there is a way. I know people who got a job as soon as they applied, and I know people who were ready to leave and book their one-way ticket back home but got a job offer last minute. You can apply for jobs through the university portal, target jobs, LinkedIn, and Indeed.

- Only 2 campuses as of my knowledge and both are in London itself.
- All of those facilities are available on the campus including student accommodation and a grocery store.
- I don't have the detailed information for all the extracurricular. but i used to participate in football related activities and there were many of those in a month and were amazing as well.
Accommodation
-
My accommodation was off campus and i found it through university living which is a service provider to find and book accommodations to students according to there needs and requirements, My monthly rent was 1250 pounds which included of daily breakfast, 24hrs beverages, Study and playing room, Every once a week room service, A bicycle from there side and a gym membership with a personal led tv.
-
My challenge was to find a good accommodation at a worthy rate cause i got late in finding accommodation and almost all of them were sold out so will suggest to book accommodation as soon as possible or else you will end up paying more than it should have been.
-
My university was 40 mins away from my accommodation. and Indian students stay across whole city and no particular place mostly everyone prefers it at walking distance to the university.

Likes
- The infrastructure and the campus
- Rich history of the university with around 9 noble laureates
- Very knowledgeable professors and mentors
Dislikes
- The university wasn't very serious on course outcomes and employment
- Access to few parts of the university could have been 24hrs for example the library and grad centres.
- Less support for International students and master's students most of the activities, clubs and unions are catered towards the undergraduates and local students.
Campus Life
- My university had two campuses one in Whitechapel and one in Mile End with both the campuses situated right next to each other, there was a canal flowing near the library and made a beautiful scenery.
- There were a lots of clubs and activities but not much promotion on it and was mainly catered to the undergraduates.
- I was part of the Queen Mary Machine Learning Club.
Accommodation
- I managed to find an accommodation outside the campus, I lived in an apartment in Stratford and the rent was 750 pounds for a shared room which included all the bills and had maid that would come in every month for a deep cleaning.
- The agency was called Cemlux Homes.
- The accommodation was top notch, but finding it was very difficult the accommodation for international students is really bad in the UK as it requires a UK guarantor which can be a really hard process.

Likes
- Professors and curriculum and how understanding they were when we had doubts.
- The projects and assignments were very practical and mostly had real-life examples.
- The teaching methodology and also the location of the university.
Dislikes
- I had issue with student accommodation as it's very limited and students find it hard to find accommodation outside.
- My course didn't have much student diversity compared to other courses like medical and arts which I wasn't expecting.
- Also the class timings, maybe because it's a 1 year course but sometimes we had continuous classes from 8am-4pm which was exhausting.
Campus Life
- We had classes in 4 different buildings, and it's a pretty big campus as it covers all different courses you almost have two tube stations from one end to the other.
- The cafeteria is a big plus here and you'll find half of the people there always, you can completely depend on it for lunch or breakfast.
- The library is pretty good with all books available for assignments or otherwise.
- We had 4 big events I think during our time there and also 2 outside the campus events and there were elections, dance, cultural competitions and also we had trips to nearby London where we could go with the University.
Accommodation
- I went through agents and online platforms but most agents are helpful, one should be careful while checking for accommodation online. I saw a lot of people getting scammed online in London and it's usually a bit tough so; I would highly recommend everyone to grab university accommodation as it's first come first serve and the accommodation inside is nice so go ahead with it.
- If looking for off-campus, there are two accommodations right out, which are good as well.

Campus Life
- My college has two campuses. My campus was Mile End Campus and it is the main campus of the University. The other campus is in the city centre and is mainly for Law students.
- My campus had a huge library which was accessible 24x7 and had a good collection. Everything was done online - issuing books and giving it back. There are many clubs including Hindu society, Cricket club, Running club - to name a few.
- As I was pursuing a Masters course, we weren't very interested in participating much in activities and those things are mostly for Bachelor's students.
Accommodation
- I found my accommodation online - IQ Student Accommodation. The name of my building was IQ East Court. It is situated right opposite to my University and is a very convenient location.
- The rent was €1200 per month which included one studio room with kitchen and bathroom (private). Addition were a lounge room, cinema room and a gym - all free of cost. It was pretty easy to book it and everything was done online. It is secure and easy.
- Indians mostly live in private housing or University accommodation which is cheaper but doesn't has much private space.

Likes
- I liked how the academics were more research-based rather than primarily focusing on theory. The approach towards teaching focuses on enhancing skills which increases job opportunities.
- The library provided a great range of study material, and the borrowing policy was great as you can borrow multiple books at a time.
- I liked the career and enterprise of my university as it helped me get an internship which was later converted into a contractual job. They assisted in building my resume and took mock interviews.
Campus Life
For masters, since it is a one year we have a few on-campus programmes ranging from cultural events to career fairs. We have several societies to serve the interests of all students. From literature, dance, and music to sports and cooking, the university has it all.
Accommodation
There is the facility of student accommodation, with an en-suite room. It is mostly 5 people sharing a common kitchen. The rent would cost anything around 800-1000 pounds including all the bills.

- The professors are extremely helpful and provide their useful insights to the students whenever needed.
- The campus is amazing, QM is the only university in Central London that has a huge campus.
- There are therapy sessions provided to help with students' mental health, however, it's not compulsory it depends on the student if they want to opt for it or not.
Campus Life
The campus is huge and the campus life is really good as well with live events always going on in the university for the students. The campus life is very happening as well.
Accommodation
The accommodation is quite good, I had aspire point where I paid around £750 per month as a rent which included everything, all the other bills and expenses.
Likes
- The University was easy to locate inside using the Map.
- It has a lot of activities that take place for students coming from different cultural backgrounds, you can always find your people and make new connections.
- The Library is a very peaceful place to study, so make use of the available services.
Campus Life
Perfect!! They have all the amenities in the university, they also have an IT department that helps you with any sort of issue on your laptop or to connect to the university website portal, and wifi.
Accommodation
The lowest could be 500 a month and the highest could be 975 a month if outside campus and if on campus the prices could vary. Near the campus there are accommodation that you could look for, if you find it as a safe area.
