- Not a lot of people receive scholarships as far as i know, i only heard of three or four people getting scholarships. Typically the award amount ranges between 4000-10000£

- 4 of my very close friends enjoyed the scholarship. They were all international students.
Likes
- Nottingham was pretty good, had a nice time there.
- The campus was actually really nice. Lots of trees and open spaces, so it felt kinda peaceful. I liked just walking around or sitting outside when the weather was decent.
- The course was planned well. I learned a lot of useful stuff, nothing too complicated. By the end, I felt like I actually knew something and could do something with it.
Dislikes
- Nottingham was nice, but some things were kinda bad. Doctor appointments were a pain. NHS wait times were too long. Had to wait weeks just to see a doctor. Super frustrating.
- Buses were all over the place. Sometimes they came late, sometimes too early. Made it hard to plan anything.
- Some parts of Nottingham felt sketchy. Especially at night. Heard some bad stuff, so I didn’t really like walking alone.
Scholarship
- I didn’t receive any scholarships for my course at the University of Nottingham, but I was awarded £250, which I used to cover some of my daily expenses, like groceries and other small costs. This was a helpful boost, especially since living expenses can add up quickly. However, my housemate received a scholarship from the British Council, which helped her with a significant portion of her costs.
- The university offers several scholarships for students, but I wasn’t aware of all the options available to me, so I didn’t apply for them. This limited my chances to receive more financial help. I noticed that some of my classmates were more active in finding scholarships and were able to get financial aid. - The Campus is really good. I studied in Nottingham University Business School which was in Jubilee Campus.
- There is a large diversity of professors and students that makes it suitable for most of the students to indulge in the environment.
- They do have many fun activities that helps the students to keep themselves engaging and not being bored all the times.
Dislikes
- The university accommodations are not really great do try finding it before hand you arrive in Nottingham.
- There are Job fairs in University but no campus placements so you have to search for job by yourself.
- The modules and exams are not very easy and you have to really work hard if you want to score really good marks in any subject.
Scholarship
- No I couldn't receive any scholarships as there are lots of applications and I was a bit late to get admission. There are few friends who did get an early bird scholarship of around 7,000 GBP and it was the common scholarship that people get.
- There are few more scholarships based on different branches and special cases. The average number is around 35 students for getting scholarship each year

- Professors- Really good teaching faculty and really helpful.

- Lack of seminars on how to adjust in a new county. What to expect and what to not- they have started it this year though.
- Career options after the course were not discussed properly. What can you do? How can you get help and support as an international student?
Scholarship
- Yes there were scholarships available and awards as well. I personally took part in the Nottingham Advantage award.
- There are different types of scholarships the university provides that are mentioned on their page based on the country you belong to. The two types of academic ones were- 50% and 100% scholarships. The amount of students who receive is quite unsure.
Likes
- The teachers had a strong command of their respective disciplines and leveraged practical experiences whenever possible. The ML professor had rich expertise working with different companies which equipped him with knowledge that enriched the machine learning module.
- The computer laboratories were fitted with modern devices and applications. This made it possible for us to engage in complex performance computer activities such as training neural networks and building sophisticated models that would have taken days, but with high end computers, it was done in a split of time with no limits.
- Variety of subjects were covered in the course; however, they gave us chance to select modules including those not from the competency science school and from the business schools as well. I had an intention to learn Management Science in the business school and my HOD agreed to such arrangement.
Dislikes
- The amount of work, particularly in the dissertation stage, was high. I found it hard to maintain a balance between study and research, particularly when there were approaching deadlines.
- The time of some modules would overlap making it impossible to go for some lectures. Some lectures I could not attend because the schedules clashed.
- Although I appreciated the international approach, many of my classmates came from the same ethnic backgrounds, predominately Chinese and Indian students. It would have been more beneficial and worth it if there were discussions and group works with students from different ethnic backgrounds.
Scholarship
- No, I didn’t receive any kind of scholarship or financial relief from my computer science school.
- Moreover, In computer science school there was no academic scholarship given to any student.
- However, one of my colleagues got a 4000£ scholarship not because he was excellent in academics but because he was an organ donor. But in business school, every second person had a scholarship ranging from as low as 1000£ up to 50%.

- How expensive the course is taking into account how much a pound is worth with respect to rupees
- Duration of the course(could be longer) as it felt fast phased
- No placement/ industrial opportunities especially critical in the field of architecture.
Scholarship
- Yes, like I mentioned my university has plenty of scholarships available. From ones ranging from 2000 pounds to even fully paid ones.
- Many do get funding, even in my course of 20 students, 2 of them have 50% funded scholarships, while a few others have like 200-7000 pound scholarships granted to them.
- I am not sure about the average number of scholarship grants every year, but UoN is one of the few universities that have either half funded or fully funded masters school programs in the country.

- Business Career cell is very supportive and they will provide you number of resources to apply for the companies.
- Quality of Faculty is impressively nice, you will definitely get to experience the classes of really skilled and amazing professors.
- The campus is amazing , business campus and university main park campus both are beautiful, you can spend time on your own.
Dislikes
- There should be a hopper bus available to commute to city center, hopper is generally free for students which run between the campuses, but there should be atleast 2 or 3 free bus services for students a day specially after evening or night time.
- Societies are expensive for international students sometimes, they can have a look into it .
- There should be more interactive sessions within the courses or similar fields, generally they held the sessions all over the universities, it's hard to narrow down the group and be frank to talk to people.

- I got a 40% scholarship of the tuition fees, It was Post Graduate Excellence Scholarship, this is a merit based or profile based scholarship that the university offers to the students. You don't have to apply for this scholarship exclusively.
- The University of Nottingham provides you plenty of scholarship offers, you need to follow the portal . Also, the early applicants holding an impressive profile get 30% of scholarships in general. Nottingham provided 100% scholarship to students as well, based on their scholarship application form . Three people form my course got 100% of scholarship.
- Their deadline for the application of the scholarships are generally opened till May first week. GREAT scholarship can offer you 10,000 GBP , there is a developing solution scholarship as well, which can offer you 50 to 100% of the tuition fee.
