Garden City University Bangalore Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

For students in their final sem are eligible for campus placements. Many startups and private companies like Infosys, Flipkart etc have visited and half of the students have got the job and other half applied privately. The highest package was around 20lakhs and lowest was around 2-3lakhs . I am planning on doing Job and later doing my masters.

As we are first batch I am not aware about this placement The faculties are telling from 6 th semester the students are eligible to campus placement The company visited like Infosys ,tata consultancy etc

There is placement in this collage it is 100 percent but most of don't go with the collage placement because of salary most of them go abroad for work or start their own business and my plan is to do mba in future and start my own business

I Chose BCA because I am interested in Computer IT & Programming stuff. Also I Don't want to do EngineeringCS/ITas I don't prefer it( Almost Everybody start disliking it :p) and out of my budget. BCA provides all essential core subjects which are needed. You can get a job which required IT,Programming skills and If you are good in programming then you can develop your own apps for any platform Android,iOS, Windowsor create your own start-up . I also have an option to pursue for MCA,MBA for masters

Our college do provide placements. Internships are provided from 4 th semester. A minimum attendance of 85 % is required for attending the internships. Many companies such as DHL, FEDEX. More than 75% of students gets placed. I am planning to get job through the placement

In the last semester the university rule is the all students want to go to the internship after the internship only they are providing certificate. They have lot of companies are comming to the college and interview student and placed and the college are also providing the placement programs to get placed for the students. Around 7to8LPA. I don't have that much information but the placement trainer told aroud 70% of students are placed but the few number of students are take the offer letter. My plan is place I well company and work after working start a company.

I am very much interested in this subject , especially the specialisation I took which is aviation Th aviation studies really prepares us for real world applications rest of the subjects are not so much applyable in real life for me I wish there was better teachers in subjects like accounts , QTB , Organisation studies Exams are very easy but they make us do unnecessary things like choosing some other course subject and make us study something we don't want and they post things in their student portal and tell us to upload and do quizzes, no notifications except Watsapp which is really inconvenient and ya sometimes we may not notice because of that and miss quizzes and they won't let us write exams saying you didn't do quiz and the also waste our time with some coursera thing which we are forced to complete

The course curriculum is good. It helps students learn the topics that are required and enhance their skills for the real world opportunities. They also have some extra curriculum course to support the overall development. However some subjects are their that is not needed.

All the technology are using ai now a days ai is booming in such a way that by this I got influenced and I choose for artificial intelligence in machine learning. It will prepare me very well so that in future even I can use ai in any fields by my own thoughts The areas where it should be improved means colleges should makes students to do more practice rather than theoretical so that students will also get a good knowledge about each and everything. The exam is conducted three days and difficultly of the exams is average

7th and 8th semester the students are eligible for the placements, Google,Oyo, and many other avg package is 300000 almost everyone is placed, i mostly will study abroad or work work for a years and later perdue my master's
