IGDTUW, New Delhi Comparison

If you're passionate about CSE and enjoy programming, algorithms, AI, machine learning, networks, security, logic, etc., then go for CSE at IGDTUW.

ICE at NSIT covers a mix of ECE, COE, and IT syllabi. Keep in mind that many CS companies primarily recruit COE/IT graduates, and some only consider COE grads.

Unless you are absolutely certain you will work hard enough to land a job at Google or Facebook off-campus, or if you're considering non-tech careers like MBA, IAS, GMAT, etc., I’d suggest ICE at NSIT.

Also, make sure to check the syllabus for both courses!

I am an Engineering Physics student at DTU, and I believe that pursuing Engineering Physics at DTU is far better than Information Technology at IGDTUW. Here’s why:

• Opportunities: The opportunities at DTU are tremendous! There are endless societies where you can pursue your interests.
• Course Structure: The full course name is Engineering Physics with a major in Electronics. If you are passionate about electronics, this branch aligns perfectly with that interest.
• Comparison: There is literally no comparison between IGDTUW and DTU.

So, I strongly suggest you choose DTU for Engineering Physics without a second thought!

Considering fees and ROI, DTU BBA and IGDTUW BBA have their pros and cons. DTU BBA's fee is around Rs. 3,00,000, with placements offering an average package of Rs. 6.5 LPA and a 30-35% placement rate, which is decent but not stellar. IGDTUW BBA, while not detailed here, likely has a similar fee structure; however, it might offer better placement opportunities or a stronger faculty presence, which could enhance your learning experience.

If you seek a lively campus with good fests and networking opportunities, DTU could be more appealing, but if you're focused on a better return on investment and possibly more robust placements, consider IGDTUW BBA. Ultimately, if you prioritize campus life and fests, go with DTU; if you want a potentially stronger academic outcome and ROI, IGDTUW might be the smarter choice.

DTU and IGDTUW both have their strengths, but when it comes to placements and internships, DTU seems to have a slight edge. With a placement rate of around 30-35% and top recruiters like PWC and Deloitte, DTU offers a decent average package of 6 LPA. In contrast, IGDTUW's placement data is less clear, making it hard to directly compare. Additionally, DTU's vibrant campus life and strong alumni network may provide better networking opportunities. If you're looking for better job prospects and a lively college experience, DTU might be the better choice. However, if you prefer a more focused academic environment and the chance to shape your own internships, IGDTUW could be a good fit.

I've looked into both DTU and IGDTUW, and honestly, DTU seems to have an edge in campus life and opportunities. The vibrant fest culture at DTU, with events happening almost monthly, really enhances the overall student experience, while IGDTUW also offers a solid curriculum but might not match the same level of excitement. DTU's curriculum is up-to-date with the NEP, which is a plus, and the internship opportunities start from the first year, giving you a head start. In terms of placements, both colleges have their strengths, but DTU appears to provide slightly better support, especially for students willing to hustle. If you're looking for a dynamic campus life and more internship opportunities early on, go for B.Tech Software Engineering in DTU. However, if you prefer a more focused academic experience, B.Tech Computer Science Engineering in IGDTUW would still be a great choice.

DTU is a tier 1 college. If you set aside the competition, DTU IT is definitely better than IGDTUW CSE. The coding environment here is absolutely mind-blowing and will push you to your limits. Many companies specifically target tier 1 colleges for their recruitment. So, if you can handle the fierce competition, welcome to DTU!

I would strongly recommend taking admission in IGDTUW. IGDTUW is a well-respected brand. Who wouldn't want to be part of such a prestigious university? As a BBA student, I can say that this university has opened up numerous opportunities for my personal growth. What I am today is largely due to IGDTUW; I have gained a lot of confidence. The societies here are fantastic! I worked with the marketing and business society, and honestly, it was an incredible experience. I learned so much. Every faculty member is available 24/7 to help with any doubts. Reputed companies actively recruit from our college, and the placement rate is 100%. Being part of this university is truly a privilege!

It really depends on your preference for math!

Here are a few things to consider:

• Placements: Choose MCE at DTU. There’s definitely more competition, with around 400 students in COE, but it’s still a better option overall.
• Curriculum: If you excel in math, go for MCE. If you’re unsure about your math skills, it might not be the best choice. If you’re confident you can handle the math without any backlogs, then go for it. But if you have doubts, don’t take the risk.
• Campus Life: DTU is a clear winner! After experiencing IGDTUW, you might always feel like you missed out on DTU. In every aspect, DTU is less likely to leave you regretting your choice.

There are other factors too, like the crowd and hostel location.

I recommend going for DTU, just make sure you can keep up with the math. If not, it’s not worth considering. Lastly, coding competitions are open to all branches, including core ones, so you’ll be just as competitive as a COE student!

I don’t have all the details, but many girls in NSIT in ECE and ICE were opting for IGDTUW CS during recent batches. Most chose NSIT for its brand value, and from what I know, more companies visit NSIT for placements. However, in terms of placements, IGDTUW COE should be on par with NSIT ECE. Everything else at NSIT is definitely superior. I’m not sure about the current situation since NSUT has introduced several new branches, but I believe it won’t significantly impact ECE placements.

PLACEMENT IS VERY GOOD HERE AVERAGE PLACEMENT IS 25-30 LPA AND ALMOST EVERYONE GETS PLACED AND ALSO INTERNSHIP IS ALSO PROVIDED ON CAMPUS SO WE DO NOT HAVE TO SEARCH FOR INTEDRNSHIP OFF CAMPUS THIS IS THE BEST THING HERE
