IGDTUW Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The placement session of our college starts in July month after the completion of the 3rd year. Many different companies visit our college first because of the edge of being an all-girls college and companies want to hire more and more female candidates. I got an on-campus offer from Collegedunia.com for the position of Business development manager.

I chose the course because I was really interested in computers, it helped me understand the subject from a broader prospect. I had almost 4-5 faculty members for the theory subjects and 2 for practicals. The faculty helped the students with doubts and was very interactive during the course. All the professors were highly educated, who had pursued Ph.D. or Mtech. Exams were held almost every two months. In each semester we had 2 minor examinations for 30 marks and 1 major exam which helped students to stay connected to the subjects.

The training and placement cell of IGDTUW works real hard and puts in their all to ensure 100% placement of the students. The cell is student-run headed by TPO who work day and night to bring in the best of the best offers for the students.

Though IGDTUW has a small campus, it has the one of the best placement record over the years. The previous year highest package being 59.45 Lakh/year by Google to Japleen Di and an average Package of around 10-15 Lakh/Annum. Moreover it is the only place, where you can complete your Btech in just 4.5 Lakh, which is the Cheapest in terms of fees. There is no college except IGDTUW where you will find such a high input-output ratio and the minimum fees of Btech in any college is 8L/y if you are a general student. The admission happens through JAC Delhi counselling on the basis of JEE ranks. The previous year 5th round cutoff rank for CSE was 39K.

After the 6th semester (in 4th year) on-campus placements start and around 250 top companies like Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Flipkart, Adobe, TCS, etc. Visit here every year and the packages offered by them were also too good. Almost 95% of students get placed every year. The average package is around 10 lakhs and the highest package varies every year according to the students. This college is too good in terms of job placements so if you get placed here you will keep on succeeding in the coming years.

this college has very good placements stats. seniors here are very helping. and opportunities are vast here. Also fees is very less as compared to other colleges. It is located in central delhi which is very near to many good places. connectivity is very good.

The students get eligible in the third year for their campus placement. The students are required to enroll in the internships and prepare a report for the same. The placement for the first batch is yet to be done in the month of December.

I pursued BBA, as I want to become an entrepreneur. For which I will go for MBA, but graduation, I thought why not go with basic first and BBA is more inclined about business. That's why I have chosen this course. As it is a girl student, the environment is very safe. The college is reputed for its engineering course and placement. As my batch is the second batch of BBA, so this course will slowly take its position like engineering in the college. Most of the faculty are guest faculty but all of them are well educated and qualified and they are all expert in their subject. There is 6 semester in BBA. 2 semester in 1 year each semester consist of the mid-semester and one end term. Currently, because of the pandemic, everything is going online.

Students are eligible for campus placements from the third year. Internships are required to be done at the end of every year. Excellent companies (FAANG) visit during placement season and on-campus placement is almost 95% over the past years. The highest packages go over 45 lacs while the average package is 13 lacs per annum.

From the 6th semester, students are eligible for campus placements. There are many big companies that visited our campus are Google, Amazon, uber, Walmart, jio, Samsung, and many more. Highest package of our college is 60 lakh per annum from Google. And average is 40 lakh or 30 lakh you can say. Percentage of students getting placements are above 8 and to be more precise it is CGPA. After getting the degree.. My plan is to get placed in one of my dream company or will do higher studies.
