NSUT Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

There are many placement and intership opportunity from different companies like Microsoft, Google, PayPal, visa sales etc. After second year, intership opportunity is open for the students and company start to visit campus in the month of July and it continues to November - December. I am planning to start my own startup in tech field. So I want to launch some products as service.

Placement of college is good up to 2023 but in 2024 there is recession occurs which decrease some percentage of placements and also decrease the average package of the college. But hope from next year again placements will be good enough.

From second year itself, students can avail interships and placements start from the begining of 4th year. FAANG visited along with other companies like salesforce,mongodb etc , And ,there were many for non tech roles as well.80% students get placements with max placements from CS .

Students become eligible for campus placement when they are in 7th semester or in 8 semester of there degree major famous companies like Microsoft and Google do approach the campus for taking up students in their firms Around 80% students are getting place into companies.

I guess after 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Winzo, Amazon, Google and other such big companies visits our college for placements of the students with high packages. Highest package jump over crores and the average package is 16 lakhs. 80% of students get the on campus placements. I have planned to get a job with high package in a renowned company.

Placement is the major plus point of this college. The average placement of COE branch was Rs. 15-18 LPA. Every top company come to this college be it Facebook, Amazon, Google, Microsoft etc. The placement rate is 100% here. The highest domestic package was Rs. 50LPA and Rs. 2 crores for international. You can also get an internship in your third year which helps the student get real-world experience along with some extra cash. But the scenario have changed as NSIT has undertaken two more campuses which have increased the number of candidates.During this recession times students from branches below Electrical Engineering are not able to sit for good companies infact ICE in some of the companies isn't allowed. The average package till now in this placement season is 7-8 LPA only to highest reaching 52LPA offered to CS/IT students with grade point more than 8.0. This year very less renowned companies visited Nsit campus and only a few of them hired good number of candidates.

Students are eligible for campus placements from their fourth year (starting of 7th semester). They prepare three rigorously to bag a great placement offer for themselves. Companies like Amazon, Google, Microsoft visit our college to offer placements for various tech and non-tech roles. Even there are companies like Maruti Suzuki, Siemens, Sprinklr that come here to offer roles in core subjects. The averag package for a tech or non-tech profile is around 12 lakhs per annum, while the average package for a core profile is around 5 lakhs per annum. The highest package that was bagged this year was of 50 lakhs per annum, offered by Google. Around 90-95% students are placed yearly though the placement portal. After getting the degree, my plan is to prepare for CAT, to get admission in one of the top IIMs for MBA studies.

The course curriculum for the 1st year students is not that relevant but the subjects for computer science is quite relevant. In the first semester we get to learn basics of programming and dsa in the second semester in c++ generally

fourth year students are eligible for campus placment. Many companies like google ,microsoft , jp morgan. morgan stanley , tcs,wipro,infosys , mercedes and many top mnc. Average package is 15 to 18 lpa and highest package is 1 croce.
