NSUT Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

This college has its name only because of its placements . Placements here are awesome. If you are doing your btech degree in cs average package is nearly around 16 lakhs while many psu's like tata etc come for the core branches too .. it is guaranteed that you will be happy with the result you get after 4 years of your journey..

Only 4th year students are eligible for campus placement but students can avail internship at 3rd year. 4th year students can also apply offline for placenta but 3rd year internship students can't apply off campus. 123 companies visited last year and total 567 offers were given. Highest package was offered by de Shaw at 52 lpa package. And average package for whole college is 10.2 lac whereas for CS department it is 18.24 lac. 99.2%placemnts in the cs department and 76%overall. I want to get placement after degree.

The course is moderate in difficulty level according to me. I chose computer science because I like coding it has the highest placement opportunities. The faculty is okayish, not great, not bad. There are too many exams and you have to study a bit to pass.

Mainly three exams are their First class tests, Second midterm exams, Third end term exams And practical, viva is also there Although exams can be easily passed by attending classes properly or studying daily

The college is known to produce great placements year on year and this was one of my reasons why I bent towards this college even though I was getting courses in top IITs. For CS students, average package is close to 21 lakh. Internship season starts at the end of 2nd year when officially college calls companies in the campus for providing internships. All the top tech companies and also non- tech companies had approached the college in the past. Highest package was close 1 crore I guess. High percentage of students get placed ( approx 90%in total) and (100% in CS courses).

After the 6th sem, the students are not even eligible but even desperate to join their favourite firm such as in TECH, NON-TECH, CORE OR HIGHER STUDIES. Some of the powerful and luring companies we have in campus selection are Qualcomm, Atlassian, Sprinkler, Google, Facebook,Amazon, Microsoft, Gold man Sachs, an American bank,TATA,UBER, and non stop and uncountable in this tab. On of the highest package to an IT sector boy of 7th sem got 70LPA And many more above 40-50LPA in TECH and NON-TECH companies. Most of the student got placed as per college records average package roams around 11-14LPA not including core branches like MECH,BT,CHEM,CIVIL etc. I want to join a tech firm and want to accomplish my dream as a Software Developer or DATA analyst

From the 6th semester, students are open for internships and hence for pre-placement offers. The final placement is allowed only after the completion of the 7th semester. A large no. Companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Atlassian, cognizant, honda, etc visit the campus. 80% of the overall number of students get placed. I am working on a startup now.

Btech is a 4-year course. it's a very interesting course. faculties help students very much. Faculty of nsut are highy educated. the teaching method of faculties is very fabulous. In a month there is a 2-time exam. these exams are not too much tough.

The course curriculum is somehow same as other government college following. Till now all the faculty members are good they teach you if you willing to learn. As our college addmission got delayed due to pandemic our 1&2 semester are of 4 months each syllabus is being reduced but the level of end semester exam is always medium.

I am in cse branch, basically, I opt for this branch because I love coding and want to have an MNC job in future. faculties are very awesome and friendly at the same time, they are very useful and in the group of 50 students, there is 1 faculty. All faculty are PHDIANS AND MSC graduates.
