SIT Bhubaneswar Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The placement in the college is good with around 90% of students getting atleast 1 offer. There is a long list of companies visiting, some of the companies are TCS Infosys Wipro MindTree persistent etc. The average package offered is around 3.5 LPA.

I thought this college was comparitively better in terms of education, placement, & extra curricular activities. No hustle bustle around the college. The one week point of this college that I found was college was located 7-8 km outside the main market. This college has a good hostel, mess and have 3 playground for games. In my batch 50 out of 80 students got placement. Overall my experience was good.

From the 7th semester, students will be allowed to sit in the placements and the companies start visiting the college from the starting of the 7th semester. The only condition kept by the college for sitting in the placements is that the students should not have any backlogs in their academics and have successfully cleared all the exams. The companies are coming and the list is long like TCS INFOSYS WIPRO HEXAWARE AMAZON MINDTREE SPIKEWELL MIND FIRE MAHINDRA COGNIGENT AMPISOFT CAPGEMINI and many more. The highest package offered by was from the amazon tech giant of 13 lacs and the average salary offered by the companies are 3.2 lacs. A maximum number of students are offered the system engineer role from INFOSYS and the Wipro engineer role. The percentage of students getting placed is near to 85% and is a good number. if the students a little effort he will be placed in a decent company with a good salary. My plans after getting a degree are to crack a good product based company.

College is Situated at various company likes tcs and infosys. Good placement from campusAdmission was smooth. Hostel facility for both boys and girls. At least good academic, and among the top colleges. Greenary campus.

The curriculum was updated and class hours were convenient. Placement records were really good. Teachers are friendly and supportive. Food is hygienic and tasty. Financial aids were also available. Various clubs were there for recreation and learning. Many functions and cultural events were also organised.

Silicon has always been a popular choice for students looking for a private engineering college in Odisha due to its academics. It is known to have a stricter environment, and students regularly achieve University gold medals. Besides, the placement records are also very good every year.

Not so costly college as compared to other colleges in Bhubaneshwar and is upto the standards too. The placements in this college are always genuine, which isn't a case for few other colleges. Also my sister was a passout from the same college in the year 2016 and she's now a TCS Employee too.

I choose this college as its academic studies is really good. Rules and curriculum are really strict here, There are strict rules against raging,No one dares to do so,And unlike other near by colleges like KIIT or ITER the placement is not that good but the quality of knowledge is great. Here u ll have to struggle to secure marks not just u get the questions. Here the fees are also less as compared to other big universities but yes the infrastructure is not that high-tech. We had 4 branches till 2019 and in the upcoming years we r going to have 7 of them all are IT and electrical related branches. Comming to the demerits there is very less but one of the major is that any issues or incontinence if caused (like money mater,results, rechecking of answersheet) are not solved properly its like the authority simply ignores it. And some rules and regulations are made up like that that the student will not get benefited. They will keep u busy with their assignment,test,projects 24*7 which is in my behalf not right atleast there must be some relaxation.

My brother studied in this college and in his views this college posses very good learning experience. Also the leactures are very good in studies as well as in intracting with students. So I joined the college and I feel preety good about it.
