This is affordable to us...and if we got better marks then u will get a good scholarship and it's easy to study in some good colleges like bits plani and its.
The students are eligible for placement after the 6th semester and various companies like wipro,tcs,amazon,etc visit our campus for placements and we get a good percentage for placements with a good package.
Very good faculty, they professors are very cooperative. they help us in every aspect and they have very good knowledge on that subject.

Dislikes

Placements are very bad in our college. the students are not getting hired by top mcs companies
The paper required for the admission process is not kept securely i thought.
No wifi in the hostel which is a very annoying thing.

Amazing Experience.

Likes

Placement, Faculties, Providing platform for entrepreunership. Sports activities.

Dislikes

Hostel, Canteen food, Small Campus, Less infrastrusture, Internet, Wifi not providing.

Placement Experience:

From 7 semester people are eligible for campus placement.Total 119 companies visited past year. And 770 students get placed. 90 percent placemrnt ratio here.My plan is to do the job in top mnc. No more higher studies.

Learning and gaining

Likes

Atmosphere of the college is very beautiful and the college located in the centre position of the city which is good to travel
Discipline of the college encourages us to do more work
All the facilities and staffs of the college are very cooperative

Dislikes

It's campus size is little bit small as compared to other colleges

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum feels little bit more as we shifts directly from school to college in schools we study one subject in a year but here we have to complete it in 6 months which seems more but the teachers efforts to complete the course is increadible

Silicon University is academically strict
Canteen foods are good hostel are also good
Although campus size is small but they organise various workshop and all

Dislikes

Campus size is small so often it becomes crowdy
So much assignment pressure and classes are quite hectic
There is nothing more disliked things overally college is quite awesome

Placement Experience:

Generally internship we get after the completion of even semester we can choose our favourite domain and pay accordingly after the completion of internship we had to make report of it also we get cashback for performing well in internship. Placement is over-all good in silicon

Likes

Academics is very strong. Teacher will be available for doubt clearing after the class or else you can go and ask on Saturday
Seniors are very helpful they provide us notes important topics questions from previous year
Various clubs are also active also some clubs are free to register

Dislikes

Campus size is small often become crowdy
Some teachers don't provide notes properly they just come and read out ppt
Canteen food is overally good but sometimes it needs more to be good

Placement Experience:

Placement is quite satisfactory in our college the average package is 800000 per annum and the highest package is 3300000 per annum by an ece student almost 80 percentage of students get placed and in ratio 7:1 company :student

A Candid Review of My Engineering College Experience.

One of the things I truly appreciated about my engineering college was the plethora of learning opportunities available. From traditional lectures and lab sessions to hands-on projects and industry internships.
The sense of camaraderie and support within the engineering community was truly remarkable. Whether it was collaborating on group projects, studying for exams together, or simply sharing a laugh during breaks, I always felt a sense of belonging.
My engineering college provided access to state-of-the-art facilities and resources that enriched my learning experience. From well-equipped laboratories and research centers to libraries.

Dislikes

One of the major disappointments for me was the disconnect between theoretical knowledge and practical application. While we were immersed in lectures and textbooks, there were limited opportunities to apply what we learned in real-world scenarios.
The campus was very small and you cannot keep any vehicles in the campus.
The security guards and the support staffs are very rude and not co-operate.

Students get eligible for placements from 7th sem. Various companies visited like tcs , Wipro , Accenture, mindtree etc. and the no. of offers were like 200-250.Highest average package was from Accenture around 8lakhs. Almost 85% students got placed. My plans was to do mtech .

Skylab and the perfect spot to hangout and chill

Silicon institute of technology: hell or heaven of students?

Likes

There is no ragging , community is good and helpful
There are a lot of club to choose from including gdsc, creative,music ,dance, sports,drama, theatre, sustainable development etc
The exposure to industry is there because it's situated in infocity

Dislikes

Not much good of a infrastructure compared to other colleges
The water quality is terrible and students suffer from many problems , the canteen food is not good as well.
Some teachers leave in mid semester which causes a lot of issues

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is strictly according to the curriculum made by bput and follows majority of it , there are some demerits to this too , there could be more better core subjects than adding papers of basic mechanical, biology, and economics in a CSE course The teaching is quite strict as well with above average teachers.

Very good faculty, They professors are very cooperative. They help us in every aspect and they have very good knowledge on that subject.
Thing I will say that the neatness of our college. Very well maintained college with very neat and clean classroom and toilets as well

Dislikes

Placements are very bad in our college. The students are not getting hired by top MCs companies
2nd reason is that the minimum attendance for a semester is 80 which is very high for an engineering student

Placement Experience:

The placement is very bad as compared to KIIT.Companies are coming to our college.But the hiring is very less.For further knowledge about placements you can prefer our college websites. The highest package as per 2023 is 28 lpa Lowest is around 2.5 lpa
