This is affordable to us...and if we got better marks then u will get a good scholarship and it's easy to study in some good colleges like bits plani and its.
The students are eligible for placement after the 6th semester and various companies like wipro,tcs,amazon,etc visit our campus for placements and we get a good percentage for placements with a good package.
Very good faculty, they professors are very cooperative. they help us in every aspect and they have very good knowledge on that subject.

Dislikes

Placements are very bad in our college. the students are not getting hired by top mcs companies
The paper required for the admission process is not kept securely i thought.
No wifi in the hostel which is a very annoying thing.

Genuine opinion about Silicon

Likes

Faculties are very friendly and supportive.
The college environment is very study friendly.
The college campus is very clean and full of trees.

Dislikes

Because of very small campus, it gets crowded.
Exams are very strict and hard to pass sometime.
The course syllabus is very outdated and lengthy.

Placement Experience:

Placement varies every year but it was decent. Students from last semester got chance to sit in the campus placement. Big MNCs like TCS, wipro visits every year for placement. The highest package was 7lpa and the average package was 3.6lpa. Nearly 70% students got placed.

Silicon Institue is a decent college to study

Likes

The campus is very clear and full of flowers.
Examinations happen in time and is easy to clear.
Faculties are very friendly and cooperative.

Dislikes

Campus is very small and it is crowdy most of the time.
Some staffs have very bad attitude and they argue.
The classrooms are not totally well maintained.

Placement Experience:

Placement is good. Students sit in the placement drive from last semester. Infosys, Capgemini visits every year for on campus drive. The average packahe was 3.6lpa. Nearly 90% students got placed every year. My plan is to go for higher studies.

Likes

The campus is full of life because of the flowers.
Cafeteria is good and they provide tasty food.
Examinations are always on time which makes life easier.

Dislikes

Very small campus and it becomes very crowdy sometimes.
There is no Air-conditioner in the classrooms.
The course syllabus is very outdated and hard.

Placement Experience:

Placement is decent in Silicon. From 7th semestar, students are eligible for placement. Companies like Infosys and Wipro visits every year. The highest package was 8lpa but the average package was only 3.6lpa. Nearly 50% got placed every year. I am currently preparing for higher studies.

The college campus is full of plants and flowers.
Examinations are conducted properly and on time.

The campus is very small and it becomes crowdy sometime.

Placement is average in Silicon Institute. Genarally placement starts in the last semester of course. Many MNCs like Infosys, Wipro and TCS visit the college. The highest package was 7.5lpa which was provided by Capgemini. The average package is 3.6lpa. Nearly 80% students got placed. I am currently on job.

Likes

I like the small garden area of the campus
The campus is very safe for both boys and girls.
Rules are strictly followed here without any compromise.

Dislikes

The campus is very small compared to other colleges.
No AC facilities in classrooms, which makes life hard in summer.
Sometime courses are very lengthy and outdated.

Likes

The environment of the college campus was very good.
Classes used to be held in timely manner.
Course used to be completed on time in every semester.

Dislikes

The academic and examination rules were very strict.
The course curriculum was very outdated.
The laboratory equipment was old and outdated.

Placement Experience:

The placement record is good in Silicon Institute. Almost everyone get placed at the end of 2yrs. From 3rd semester placement begins. Nearly 50 companies visit every year which includes Infosys, TCS, Wipro and many more such MNCs. The highest package was 14lpa provided by Amazon in a pool campus drive. The average package used to be 3.6lpa which used to be offered by companies like TCS and Infosys. 90% students got placed every year. I am currently on job which I got through on campus placement in my 4th semester.

Teachers are very supportive and are very knowledgeable
Campus Life is very enjoyable and faculties are supportive
Library and skylab are covered with wifi and ac

From 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Azure, Adobe, Tata. Highest and highest placement package is rs3200000 per annum. Average package is 7lpa. 83% students got placed

Satisfied with teachers and having a good campus life

Skylab covered with unlimited wifi and having bench to seat
Library having many books and covered with unlimited wifi
Auditorium covered with full central ac and best for watching movies by cinemax club
