Likes

Iith provides you teaching from the best teachers who are well qualified.
Students in our college gets internship opportunities in their third year.if they performed well in their internship,the company provides preplacement offers before completing their engineering.many best companies like google, microsoft, wipro, tcs, etc come to our college to hire students.
Hostels are great here, there are groups of 6 or 8 rooms forming one pod which helps in mingling better with other students.

Dislikes

I disliked the professor very much, the are very bad in teaching
Sometimes the faculty of my department (mathematics) were hard to deal with.
The professors are two strict not even giving exam paper in advanced range.

College Life of a student

Likes

Hostel rooms, class rooms, we dont need to get permission to go outside we can approach any professor regarding projects for advise and study and live is good we can have some quality time with friends and can make memorable moments in anual fests
Hostel rooms and infrastructure we can move freely in college
We can approach any professor regarding projects

Dislikes

Mess food it is some times too worst but some times ok
Occasionally we get lan problems results in work stopage
Dust is too high and due to near by factors bad air smell

Placement Experience:

From seventh semester students become eligible for campus placements. Regarding the details of highest and average package as per company and profiles offered it is mainly got by CS students around 60lakhs

My Campus life

Placement Experience:

The placements at the end of the 7th semester, companies like Zomato, Microsoft, Suzuki, Japan Accenture, Oracle, KLA, and many more,total no of companies visited is around 100, and the total offers are more than 300. the highest package according to my knowledge is 62LPA around 50% got placed considering all branches.I want to get placed in good company.

Likes

The active life in the campus is what I like the most
Most of the faculty is friendly and nice.
The academic blocks are very beautifully engineered.

Dislikes

There is still construction work going on.
Drinking water facility in the new hostels is below average.
There are some irrelevant courses in the curriculum such as Physics lab for non-Physics related branches.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Computer Science and Engineering course because we are living in the digital era. Most of the faculty members are friendly and nice. The difficulty of the exams is medium to hard, but can be passed through regular study.

Balanced review of IIT Hyderabad (not too critical ones you might found out there xD)

Likes

The newer and innovative structured buildings, the special collaboration with Japan (I went there under a student exchange program).
The campus is beautiful and really safe to live in. You can come and go out according to your schedule so we have that freedom also.
The placements are pretty good if you compare to other colleges.

Dislikes

Sometimes the faculty of my department (Mathematics) were hard to deal with.
A lot of construction was ongoing when I arrived at the campus, but most of it is already over now.
Sometimes some festivals are not enjoyed really greatly (there is no official arrangement for them).

Placement Experience:

The college invites companies for on campus placements and internships. A lot of good companies do visit and IIT Hyderabad is topper not only among new generation but competing with the older ones. Most of the profiles are related to software developement and AI/ML. Most students opt for non-core tech companies onlyl.

Building Architecture, one of the speciality of IIT Hyderabad
Hostel Life with Friends, One of a kind of experience
Great Faculties to learn from, Very Interesting.

Dislikes

Under Construction Campus, Many of the things are not built yet, It is Under Construction
Campus is Very Far From City, It takes a lot to go to city

Placement Experience:

In the 7th semester of college On campus Placement Season Start, Many Companies Visit IITH you can get info from OCS IITH officil Website, There the stats are updated regularly. In my branch, Nearly all of the peoples who registered for placements got placed, Some of them Opted for Higher Studies. In the 5th semester you have a option of doing a internship also, You can either do summer internship for 3 months or Semester internship for 6 months.

Honest and very truthful review

Likes

Sports complex, it is very good and has many sports
Girls, but only north indian girls, can not see south indians in the dark
Hostel, I love the hostel because we have booze parties

Dislikes

The whole college, all the buildings are very weird
Hostels, no coed hostels, im not getting sex
Faculty, they cause many deaths per year. 4 deaths previous year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My curriculum is mathematics and computing and it has no computing. Students should not take this course. Our faculty caused many deaths, faculty should be changed. Special regards to Narasimha, G ramesh and others.

POV of Civil student in IITH

I liked the fractile academic system which lets us choose the courses we like.
campus infrastructure is top notch in most of the construction completed area.
Senior and junior relations are distinct here that is you can be with or not.

Dislikes

lacking Seniors juniors relationship will cut us from most of the other stuff in campus.
The student body here is not as powerful as other old IITs.
Though IITH has top 10 NNRIF ranking it still lacks student culture and our director does not let us take any action.

Placement Experience:

We go through Internship placement in our 6th semester and full-time placement will be on the 4th-year 1st semester that is 7th semester. A good number of people get PPO through internships and the rest get placed in our 7th semester.

Review of IIT Hyderabad from a perspective of Engineering Science student

Likes

Internet connection is best with great download and upload speed
Rooms are quite spacious with great furniture
Infrastructure of campus is on another level, it feels like I have entered an it hub

Dislikes

Library is still not available due to construction
Swimming pool is too far from hostel and the water is not temperature regulated
Canteen doesn't have any good quality food or snacks

Placement Experience:

Google, Apple, and Amazon are few large companies that visit during placements and they offer quite good package. The highest package would more than 1 crore and the average package would around 12 lakh per annum. I wish to do PHD after my bachelor's

I liked hostel rooms available here. There is enough space for single person
Infrastrucure of this IIT is very good .
I liked new sports complex and old also.

Dislikes

I disliked the mess food provided by private tendors. Quality is not good.
I disliked the most of area which is not made till yet
I disliked hostel office rules. Even on little situtation they fine all of us

Course Curriculum Overview:

I want to become chemical engineer . I am intersted in improvement of environment . So i take this course. Faculty: Student ratio is good here. All faculty are good engineera. Exams are very difficult.

I like hostel as its is very beautiful and also have radiation base cooling system.
Sports complex : As it is very large and have very good facility.
Travelling inside the campus is very convenient

Dislikes

Theres is nothing much that i dislike about iith.

Foundation Courses: These include fundamental mathematics courses, basic computing concepts , and introductory courses in related fields. Core Courses : These includes Mathematics courses, algorithms , dsa, numerical analysis and theoritical computer science. There is also projects , internships and Thesis /Research Work.
