Financial assistance ishan udhoy scholarship this scholarship literally helps those who belong to poor families and helps them in fulfilling their needs.
I like the beautiful campus, playgrounds, gymnasium and also the education system of the university is also good.
Teachers are good and friendly. they help you regarding your problem

Dislikes

Our hostel food is very bad quality. Many times due to the food we suffer from constipation and other unhealthy conditions.
Some of the department also quite bad and some of university area also looking bad.
The hostel mess food is not good and it is unhealthy also

Overall experience in NERIM

Likes

The college is not strict with attendance
It emphasises more on practical learning
You engage yourself with various organisations throughout the fieldwork process

Dislikes

The college infrastructure is not that great
More and better placements can be provided
Conduct more rural camps which is a part of the course curriculum

Placement Experience:

The college offers placement to the students, but it varys to students to students. It definitely doesnt provide placements to all. I feel the placement packages should be a little higher, and also engage the students with their extra skill set learning programs which will boost the overall placement process.

From 5th semester student become eligible for campus placement The companies like ONGC ,NRL semiconductor and many other companies came The highest package is 15 lakhs per Annum and average is 10 lakhs per Annum 75%

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am very interested in music so I choose this course and decided to study in university.because it makes me happy. The curriculum prepares me wisely in the field of singing . They need to introduce modern music to our course the exams are conducted between 2 to 3 months . And the exam is not difficult if you have proper knowledge about the course.

Our university has a very beautiful campus

Here, library is a peaceful place to study
Our departments for engineering are really great
Our university has a very pretty campus and thus our campus is known as NAHOROR DEKH

Dislikes

The toilets are not cleaned on a regular basis
Canteen food is not up to mark and the prices are too high
Hostels need to be renovated quickly and a proper study environment should be provided

Placement Experience:

For our mechanical branch, there are job opportunities. And when it comes for corporate jobs, students are selected on the basis of skill based and not on the basis on marks. Private as well as public job opportunities come for placements

About Dibrugarh university

Likes

Library, study environment, professors, canteen
The environment for studying in university is too good. There is no noises and you can study anywhere you want
The people's of the university are very friendly and the hostel i stays namely APDCN is best

Dislikes

Classroom conditions of our centre..they need to reconstruct it

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is up to date and it includes remote sensing and GIS hence i choose it. The curriculum gave us practical knowledge about analysing Earth. There are two in-term sessional exam one occurred in September and one in November and the finals week starts from December.

Life at "Nahoror Dekh"

I mostly like the environment of the university, like the indoor stadium, gym, and hangout places
I also like the library where we can study without any disturbance.
I also like the park of the university, it feels like heaven in winter days

Dislikes

The chaos in canteens, because there are only a few canteens.
The intership facility is also a reason why I dislike the institute.
The main reason of dislike is the placement cell

I'm from a town where the petroleum industry is main source, so I saw everything from my childhood amd this help me to gain interest in this field so I decided to take admission into Petroleum Engineering. In North East region of India, Dibrugarh University is the only institute to offer Bachelors in petroleum Engineering, so I choosed this institute.

During the first year, the students of all branches will have a common classroom for all subjects. It is from the 3rd semester that you will be well acquainted with respective branches. The teachers are very dedicated and cooperative and the classes are held regularly.

Alongside academics, you would be left with enough time to excel through various extra-curricular activities. The annual tech fest “Auxesis” is held every odd semester and the University Week is held every even semester. The workload becomes exhausting during these semesters.

The campus is serene and splendid. The greenery everywhere brings out the best of the serene beauty and creates an enthusiastic environment for studying. Overall, your college time here would be terrific.

Everyone has their own individual perspective and opinions thus; your experience might be very much different and better too.
