Financial assistance ishan udhoy scholarship this scholarship literally helps those who belong to poor families and helps them in fulfilling their needs.
I like the beautiful campus, playgrounds, gymnasium and also the education system of the university is also good.
Teachers are good and friendly. they help you regarding your problem

Dislikes

Our hostel food is very bad quality. Many times due to the food we suffer from constipation and other unhealthy conditions.
Some of the department also quite bad and some of university area also looking bad.
The hostel mess food is not good and it is unhealthy also

from 5 th semester students become eligible for campus placements The companies that makes offer to our placement are ONGC, NRL , SEMICONDUCTOR etc Highest package is 15 lakhs per annum and average is 5 lakhs per annum. 75% of students get placement To get a good job

7 th semester students become placement eligible. Ongc,Quest Global,oil come for placements. Highest Package Of 18Lpa Is Offered By Ongc Whereas Minimum Package Of 13-14 Lpa By Quest Global. My next plan is to appear for competitive exams

Dibrugarh University is the best university.

I dislike about the hostel mess food because of the less protein,fibre , etc
I dont like the hostel wash room of the university
I dont like about the cafeteria because it's too costly for me

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. The companies like ONGC , NRL , SEMICONDUCTOR, etc visited to the university and the offers they made is about to 10 lakhs per annum The packages were approximately 10 to 15 lakhs per annum I want to take a good government job with highly salaried after my degree

My Journey in Dibrugarh University

Likes

What I like about my university is that it full fill the conditions that a university should. Here apart from selected subjects we also choose different subjects for Generic Elective and for Ability Enhancement Course.
For example being a student of history I may not know about Mass communication but here I get the opportunity of choosing this subject as my GE and there I learned about multimedia and bolgs
Also in the university we have a huge library and 2 playgrounds one indoor stadium and gym along with 1 basketball court,2 volleyball court which helps in the development of students

Dislikes

What I dislike is that here we don't have the facility of vehicle for going class and as the hostels are in a distance with the classroom sometime it create problems

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose History as my major subject because I like this subject from my school times. And it is a important subject for every competitive exam also to know about the history of the evolution of society, economy and every aspect of human life .As history repeats itself so I think it's better to read it and know how it functions. Here we not only read about political history but also about social history, history of environment, history of feminism and everything.

What i know about Dibrugarh University

Likes

Events and fests are held every month here
Campus is full of greenery so it feels good to walk
Classes with well equipped with modern technology,

Dislikes

Hostel food is not upto the mark but edible
Facilities are not well maintained and damaged items takee longer than usual to repair
Roads are not well maintained. It is difficult to move in rainy season

Placement Experience:

30 to 40 percent of students get place here. The highest package offered is 18lpa and the lowest is 4lpa. Major recruiters are OIL, ONGC I plan to prepare for campus interview. If i can't make it will pursue mtech

It was a nice experience to share a review regarding my college

The beauty of the college which is greenery and which is a very beautiful college i study
The teaching style of our department teachers especially of our respected Subhadeep sir
The connection and bonding among the students and the teachers

Dislikes

I often dislike the students union of our college so don't work properly
The canteen food which charges high price but offer very little food
The arts and science department are very well maintained but the commerce department are ignored,even during the NAAC the students of the college painted and cleaned the building

Course Curriculum Overview:

Basically I preferred of doing my Graduation and I m liking doing it.and the degree course is very helpful for getting into any jobs ..it is basic qualification for any jobs and further studies..and our college conducts in sem exams of 40 marks each two times during one semester

the appreciable things of our college is the faculty and there atitude towards to them and there problem. the student of our college experience a good and warm environment due to the clean and green campus...
the people here are very cooperative and friendly and the method of teaching of the faculties is quite appreciable as the ratio of teachers , students of our class in 1:53
the 4 years of study circulam here appreciate the development of the student personality and way of deeling chalanging things and facing problem with out any hesitation..........it develops the quality of the design making any situation

Dislikes

most of the campus space in unused full of swarn
facilities in the campus are not well maintained
food in the hostel is not that good but eatable

student can eligible for campus placement in final year of college the university may start the campus recruitment process as early as July students may need to be certain criteria to eligible for campus placement such as having a minimum CGPA

During the first year, the students of all branches will have a common classroom for all subjects. It is from the 3rd semester that you will be well acquainted with respective branches. The teachers are very dedicated and cooperative and the classes are held regularly.

Alongside academics, you would be left with enough time to excel through various extra-curricular activities. The annual tech fest “Auxesis” is held every odd semester and the University Week is held every even semester. The workload becomes exhausting during these semesters.

The campus is serene and splendid. The greenery everywhere brings out the best of the serene beauty and creates an enthusiastic environment for studying. Overall, your college time here would be terrific.

Everyone has their own individual perspective and opinions thus; your experience might be very much different and better too.
