Financial assistance ishan udhoy scholarship this scholarship literally helps those who belong to poor families and helps them in fulfilling their needs.
I like the beautiful campus, playgrounds, gymnasium and also the education system of the university is also good.
Teachers are good and friendly. they help you regarding your problem

Dislikes

Our hostel food is very bad quality. Many times due to the food we suffer from constipation and other unhealthy conditions.
Some of the department also quite bad and some of university area also looking bad.
The hostel mess food is not good and it is unhealthy also

So the curriculum provides enough insight into the subject that too step wise... i .e The load increases with the semesters... The difficulty level is Average for me... But maybe tough for others or may be easy for some .

Our beautiful college

Likes

The physics faculty is very good and the teachers help us in every possible situation.
The campus is very neat and clean and it is very refreshing.
The infrastructure of the college is good, we get mordern facilities in the classroom.

Dislikes

Sometimes the teachers don't take class and they don't inform about it.
During hot and sunny days we need fans but some of the fans don't work .
The toilet is a bit dirty for which we face some problems.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have choosed physics because i liked the subject very much and the faculty is very good.They conduct two sessional exams in one semester and one final exam so in one year they conduct four sessional and 2 final exams.

The teaching methods used by the faculty members is beyond ppreciable. The love and praise given by them is not found in any other institution.
The campus itself speaks harmony and love. The nature here is blessed with students who take care of all the plants and cleanliness in the institution
The course curriculum that is given helps the students to critically analyse their capabilities and helps them in their self development

Dislikes

The network availability is poor as no wifi is provided for the students
A lot of traffic is seen as there are many other colleges in this area

My life at DHSK

People here are very friendly and ready to help
The friends I have made are very kind hearted
Teachers here are always ready to help in any situation

Dislikes

No proper drainage system of rainwater and water clogging
The toilets need to be more clean and sanitised
Sometimes the classes are postponed which creates great inconvenience

Course Curriculum Overview:

My personal interest was in Biology hence I opted for zoology and botany as major and minor respectively. The botany classroom needs yo have fans as its very hot and the zoology classroom needs to fix the projector.

First and foremost is the environment and surrounding, the entire campus and the programs held here.
The teaching methods includes both verbal and audio-visual
The treatment given by the faculty is very good

Dislikes

The toilet facilities is quite inconvenient
Too busy and crowdy due to a very large population
Water logging in the campus is another thing which I dislike the most

Almost appropriate and healthy course. Fee structure is quite affordable and exams are appropriate. But the frequency of exams are not suitable for the time of preparation. A much more time is required for preparation.

Every facallity of DHSK college is highly qualified and experienced
The cleanliness of the college is beyond imagination
This college never miss any important caltural events

The only thing negative about this college is that internet speed which is very considerable as its a institution for education

LIFE AT DHSK

Our college is very neat and clean and also got the tag of the cleanest and green college all over assam and it is also a very good place as it feels very fresh and gives positive vibes.
There is a scope for a lot of competitions in quizzes, cultural programs, sports, and a lot more as our colleges organizes such such programs from time to time.
The infrastructure of the college is very good and even some of the classrooms have AC in them.

Dislikes

As a lot of programs are held sometimes studies are hampered
Some of the classes get missed sometimes as teachers are alloted into many other duties
There isn't any such to not like about this college you will feel great here

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our course curriculum is very useful and of great need. It focuses on future need and prepares a student to get accustomed to the outside world and be a great human in all. Exams are held 3 times in one semester. Two in sem exams and one end sem of 60 marks and 80 in some.

We can get a lot of exposure un many fields in our college.
The college gives much importance to sports and cultural activites.
The campus is beautiful and the library boasts of a wide collection of books and a peaceful environment. The major classrooms are equipped with ACs.

Dislikes

A few professors don't inform beforehand when they are on leave.

I chose physics mainly because i had interests in this subject. After graduation from physics there's a lot of a scope. The exams are of moderate level. The teaching is good which makes it easier to crack the exams.

Faculty members are supportive and helpful.
Good environment for study. Regular classes if there is a least number of students
Physics, Chemistry, IoT etc. various sophisticated laboratories are available

Dislikes

There is no technical fest organized from last few years
Often generators are not working when there is a power cut
need improvement in roads inside the campus, maintenance of the park, cleaning of the surroundings.

Placement Experience:

Placements from our college is good. Every year students placed in various companies like PSUs, Banks and many more with a average package of 8 lakhs per annum to 10 lakh per annum. In the year 2017 to 2021 there is a mass number of students placed from our college with great packages.

During the first year, the students of all branches will have a common classroom for all subjects. It is from the 3rd semester that you will be well acquainted with respective branches. The teachers are very dedicated and cooperative and the classes are held regularly.

Alongside academics, you would be left with enough time to excel through various extra-curricular activities. The annual tech fest “Auxesis” is held every odd semester and the University Week is held every even semester. The workload becomes exhausting during these semesters.

The campus is serene and splendid. The greenery everywhere brings out the best of the serene beauty and creates an enthusiastic environment for studying. Overall, your college time here would be terrific.

Everyone has their own individual perspective and opinions thus; your experience might be very much different and better too.
