The teachers are friendly with the students and i have the best learning experience in there.
The facilities gauhati university is providing and the infrastructure. teachers try to provide as much information as they can. the campus is so peaceful. hostels facilities are so good. gauhati university provides good health and medical facilities
The courses are very good as they probide a vast selection of them.

Dislikes

There was no entrance exam for us, it was online registration and merit list was provided, there was no entrance exam for us.
Some teacher are very good and some are so bad in behavior and teaching so i dislike some teachers.
Teachers are not good in teaching they are also bad behavior.

A brief description about Tihu college.

Likes

Departments and the teachers, they teach us genuinely.
The faculty of college is too good and appreciated
The labs are good and the instrument in labs is useful

Dislikes

The non clean campus and the late classes

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the Batchelor in Science in Zoology. The zoology is best subject for study in tihu college. The teacher we got the facility we got is very nice. The labs are too good and the urinals are clean in department.

Likes

I liked the environment and teachers of the college
The facilities are good and hotels are neat and clean
College principal and teachers and the union body all are good

Dislikes

I dislike about the cultural activities in the college
I dislikes about the ragging and some workers behaviour
I dislike the people who make dirty of the appartment

I decided to choose the curriculum of Hindi because I love Hindi and I want to become a Hindi professor of Hindi department in nowgong college and I suggest to improve the area like sports and cultural activities

Perfect University for Law Students

Likes

Friendly faculty. The faculty is very friendly and they help us in a great manner in accordance of every aspect. Be it cpurse selection, subject matter or the exam preparations. They help us in a thorough manner.
The campus is very healthy. There are canteens and there are multiple playgrounds to help students enjoy their free time.
The curriculum is very useful. It helps students to get through most of the universities and they conduct multiple inter college festivals to keep us engaged with the subjects we are studying.

Dislikes

The canteen food is little costly and the prices can be covered by government funds.
The fee structure is not affordable for all the students, if the fees can be covered through more scholarships, many students will be able to study.
The hostel facility is less than the requirements which is why students had to stay in Paying guests.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is perfect for them who wishes to advance 1 year in their law degree, usually the degree takes 6 years after 12th, however this integration makes this course of 5 years, 10 semesters which helps reduce 1 year to the students. The curriculum is based on present law structures and very helping in the law background.

First of all i like the environment of the college.
Teachers are very supportive and helps students in studies.
Teachers provide us well education process.

Dislikes

The placements were not provide by college.
Social interactions between students were not happened.
Overall teachers were not supporting each other.

The course curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course is the environment and the teaching methods of the teachers. The teaching method is very unique we feel like our family teaches us. The timing of exams was their are two exams were conducted in one semester one is sessional examination and other is final examination.

My college life in B.Borooah College.

Likes

The study environment is great and teaching is good.
They have two canteens, one is for snacks and another is for having lunch or a quick bite if you are in a hurry.
The labs are good with well equipped instruments and materials.

Dislikes

Most the students are great but a section is very aggressive, probably the wannabe gangsters.
The toilets are not clean always but are cleaned when the Union body is told
During college elections, we miss alot of our classes and there is so much noise which hurts the study environment.

Well, the Assam board only focuses on indigenous and bookly knowledge, we do not get to study much about the outside world and whats going on in real time. I wish write the answers I got in real life through experimenting during exams but well if its not in the book then I cannot. I suggest the faculty of B.Borooah College to have the students go on field trips, excursions and what not but we rarely get to see that now. As of the timings of exams, well they are good enough but I do suggest them to have exams on a frequent basis so us students can easily cope up with the topics. The exams are mediocrely difficult but its not that easy as well.

My point of view on college

Likes

I like the botanical garden in my college it brings me lot of peace

Dislikes

The only thing that I dislike in my college is the bathroom facility

I will rate the course curriculum ten on ten . I have passed two years with this facility.and in thses two years I got to know a lot of things and opportunities through my faculty. I got to know that in this field I can give a nice shape to my carrier

I like the teachers of my department as they were very helpful
It has a proper library along with a proper auditorium

As the course ENGLISH Literature-was under Guwahati University it does need some adjustments in including topics which was relevant in todays generation. As most students go for their masters they need topics which was included in master courses so they can be more prepared if they want to persue NET and JRF

Likes

I like the way proffesors teach here , very well experienced and they help is in various fields
I like how the cleanliness is maintained in college , there are various events of nss also held to aware students and to support them to keep the campus clean
I like the students teacher interaction and the doubt solving skills of teachers

Dislikes

Toilets are very dirty and cleanliness in toilet are very less
College canteen is very unhygienic and staffs are not good
Drainage system is not good, whenever there is rain there is flood like situation

The course curriculum is excellent, it gives us knowledge about pure mathematics, I personally learn so much things here , our proffesors gives us the knowledge about iit jam and research fields , teaching methods include smart studies , we have our own computer lam projectors are used to improve learning . The exams are very good and the difficulty level of exams are moderate .

Comfortable Life at Gauhati University

Likes

The college is very nice overall. The boys and girls lodging campus are seperate. The educational environment is very well. The faculties are very experienced and provide the knowledge in democratic way. The course can develop the students lives.
The hostel facility is available there in the college campus. The students can get benifits from all corners
The students can take admission in any stream like science, commerce and arts. The best thing is that every teachers present themselves as father's to the students.

Dislikes

Some extra activities done by the students like ragging or other things are not desirable.
Some students engage themselves in drinking or other bad things but we should be with good students to make them fellow.
Overall the college is good if we live there well.

I like to read literature so I selected to read English literature because it gives a lot of joys . The curriculum extremely impact in my daily life activities like it taught us how to communicate with people, it helps us to understand others emotions etc. everything is good.

A close outlook to life in Nowgong College

Likes

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have been deeply driven by the subject history since I was a kid. Having an acute knowledge on history will provide me a in depth knowledge in the medium of history and help me to teach the new generation about it. My department can appoint more teachers in the faculty. The exam is conducted for 2-3 hours each.

One of my friends graduated from Gauhati University. According to her, it’s a decent university.

Faculty: The faculties are dedicated. They may seem strict at first, but you can approach them, regarding your problems.

Curriculum: The course curriculum is up-to-date. You can even follow the syllabus for various entrance tests.

Classes: Classes are held regularly. The institute is also strict regarding attendance.

Co-curricular: Different co-curricular activities are held around the academic year.

The environment on campus is great for studies. The university has been accredited with NAAC A grade. Overall it can be a great place to pursue your studies.
