The teachers are friendly with the students and i have the best learning experience in there.
The facilities gauhati university is providing and the infrastructure. teachers try to provide as much information as they can. the campus is so peaceful. hostels facilities are so good. gauhati university provides good health and medical facilities
The courses are very good as they probide a vast selection of them.

Dislikes

There was no entrance exam for us, it was online registration and merit list was provided, there was no entrance exam for us.
Some teacher are very good and some are so bad in behavior and teaching so i dislike some teachers.
Teachers are not good in teaching they are also bad behavior.

Likes

I like the campus. Where our class occurs
I love the food of our canteen and the fresh air
I like my friends from my childhood who are with me

Dislikes

Everything including every pHD scholar who takes our classes
We are not getting any attention from our departments
We are also prevented from joining in any events of the university

I just want to get a job and I liked this subject. Thats the reason behind my choosing education as honours and there is nothing interesting in the subject but if you want to get a job in college of assam and have confidence that you will do it once then go forit

I like the environment of this college and the campas is too good

I dont like one thing is there is no play ground yes they have a play ground but in that play ground everyone parked there cars and bikes

I like the environment very much. It's greenery and preety much clean all the time.
I like pratical labs of university. Almost every equipment is present in lab.
I like the infrastructure of my department.

Dislikes

I don't like my classes routine like I have an extra 2 hours gap.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I am studying, courses are pretty tough for me. I find it hard to understand and it's challenging for me. I don't I'd I will be able to complete my syllabus before my finals. Teacher do help us but without self study it's not going to happen.

Likes

I love the college environment as it is very peaceful to focus and study
College has a nice field to play and an indoor to play badminton game
I like college’s gym and library also as all required books are available there

Placement Experience:

As I have seen the alumni and I also consulted with my seniors that placement from this college is great . And if we pass with good percentage the percentage pf getting jobs and opportunities is very easy

university campus is very big so it provided a good campus life.
every thing is available in our campus such as gym, market, stadium etc.
social gathering is very good in our university provided us a good scope.

Dislikes

there is less number of hostels not provided to everyone.
there is a lot of monkey in the campus and also snakes
the administration is not good , there is a lot of delays in administrative works.

The course curriculum is pretty good. teachers provide good knowledge and teaches very well and also provide practical knowledge. exam timmings are also well. difficulty level of the exams are moderate.

Staffs, Environment,The location of the college and the first college in the entire Norther East to get a grade of A++ from the Naac

Dislikes

Infrastructure,lacks some of basic necessities such as indoor stadium and play ground,and a wider campus

The teaching method is good in our course.
Teachers are friendly with students and help them whenever required.
The most liked thing is that we are guided everytime wherever asked to do.

Dislikes

No such placements are provided.And we are out only with the certificate.
No future stability from the course side of the college.
The Computer systems are old version and does not run properly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculums that influenced is that the college is well recognised and we never face such problems like less values or something else, the teachers are well professionals and the teaching quality is far better.

Likes

The polution free environment within the city life
The availability of various options while selecting subjects

Dislikes

Limited student- teacher interaction and engagement
The teaching level of teachers seems like it is at a higher level and everything seems complicated .
Inadequate reading materials makes it harder for the students

English has always been of my liking and that's why I chose this course . But the way everything is focused on history in my semester kind of makes me demotivated. But I feel like this might come in use when I am preparing for competitive exams

Nowgong College Overview in All Perspectives .

Likes

The college structure should be improved properly and toilets should be made atleast 3 to 4 for the students.
The overall social interactions were good at all.
The personal and professional development is really commendable but the campus should be improved and should developed .

Dislikes

About the college toilet structure and cleanliness.
The benches and desks should be changed .
The college auditorium hall should have proper chairs for the seating instead of benches.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The department and the subject I choosed was my favourite from my hs as I really enjoy while reading political science. For real world experience the curriculum also provides project work and survey including presentations.

Likes

The college has a good and healthy environment within lots of plants and natural habitats
Our college has a beautiful pond in it’s backyard
The faculty members of each department has a genuine healthy nature

Dislikes

Our campus is not at all big its quite compressed
Few of the departments are not regular in taking classes
Our college must develop their infrastructure

One of my friends graduated from Gauhati University. According to her, it’s a decent university.

Faculty: The faculties are dedicated. They may seem strict at first, but you can approach them, regarding your problems.

Curriculum: The course curriculum is up-to-date. You can even follow the syllabus for various entrance tests.

Classes: Classes are held regularly. The institute is also strict regarding attendance.

Co-curricular: Different co-curricular activities are held around the academic year.

The environment on campus is great for studies. The university has been accredited with NAAC A grade. Overall it can be a great place to pursue your studies.
