My college life

The fee paid a year for sem 1 and 2 combined is about 2.6 lakhs which include tution fees of 1 lakh and other courses. There is a fee waiver of 2/3rd of tution fee for student with annual income less than 5 lakh and full tution fee waver for economically poor. There are many scholarship detail privided by college foe economically poor student

MY EXPERIENCE AS A FRESHER AT IITG

Student Snaps:

Fees in my college varies for students according to categories. I will be paying around 800000 worth tuition fee in total, The tuition fees for Sc/st students is 0. Students from ews and obc-ncl category coming under the given conditions of the institute can avail tuition fee waiver, the conditions are as follows: 1)Students having parental income between 1lakh to 5lakhs. SBI has a branch inside the IIT campus near the lecture hall for students who wish to avail loans. Students from my college can have Scholar Loan which is a bit better than Student loan as the interest rate is only 8.50%. We are made to pay the fees beforehand the semester starts. If somebody wishes to give supplementary exam after their end semester exams, the fees per credit is 500rs.

I paid around 3 lakh rupees for 1 year because I was a general candidate and OBC candidate can get scholarship and SCR St candidate can get full tuition fee we were a general candidate me also get fever if it's they comes in economically backward sections and full fill the criteria

While the faculty is knowledgeable and supportive, there were instances where the course and teaching methods felt outdated. Technique and technology taught in the classroom should make the learning experience more effective with the daily life.

The annual fees is 68000. The tution fee is 1 lakh per annum. one time registration fee is 20000. If your income is less than 1 lakh then you can get 100 % tution fee waiver. The college has many scholarships like mcm , scholarship for sc/st students,etc.

Very hectic academic schedule with less breaks.

Tution fee per semester is around 1 lakhs and hostel,mess and other constitute another 30k but there are many scholarships/ financial aid available if you don't come from a strong financial background.Placement opportunities are good and very diverse.

If your annual income is less than 100000 then you dont have to pay semester fees if its between 100000 to 500000 then you have to pay 60% of the fees . Well actual semester fees is 100000 and there is 35000 something for hostel.
