I was very interested in the ECE course because it is a flexible branch and has exposure to both IT and core too. The faculty: student ratio is very fine there is no issue regarding that. Few lecturers may take time to settle the student's pace and have alot of language issues, but the rest are very suited. Everything was very comfortable and student-friendly. Though there were a few revolts on the student's welfare, it's all sorted in mean time and everything runs smoothly.

I was interested in the course that I had choosen because I was interested in the electronics part. Here at NIT Silchar faculty to faculty-to-faculty-to-student ratio was good at 1:27. The minimal qualification for teaching staff is phd and then teaching experience comes to play a major role. The period between term exams is 5 months. The difficulty of passing an exam depends upon various factors as faculty paper evaluation and the highest mark obtained

Placements are increasing gradually for mechanical engineering for 2023 placements The average package is 10 lpa and the highest is 44 lpa which is very high among most of the nits. many governments PSU's are visiting the campus regularly to the campus for core students

The placement of the college is quite good. we cannot disclose the name of the company visiting the campus because the training and placement cell of NIT SILCHAR did not allow us to disclose the names of the companies. My plan after getting my degree is to go through the UPSC exam.

6th Semester: Students often start preparing for placements during the 6th semester by building their resumes, developing interview skills, and participating in mock interviews and placement-related workshops 7th Semester: Campus placement activities usually kick off in the 7th semester, and companies may visit the campus to conduct recruitment drives. Students can participate in interviews, written tests, and other selection processes during this time 8th Semester: The placement process continues into the 8th semester, and students may have additional opportunities to secure job offers from various companies 2) Many reputed companies such as swiggy, Amazon Microsoft google etc come to our campus. 3) As per the 2022 reports average package in my branch is 12.28 LPA and highest package is 52.8LPA. 4) As per 2022 reports an approximate percentage of 89 got placed in my branch. 5) My plans are to prepare for railway entrance jobs.

Because I was interested in this course. Here the faculty-to-student ratio would be around 1:25 which is very good we can clarify our doubts by asking the faculty, the Qualification of the teaching method will mostly be the same, they are PhD, but their teaching experience plays a major role and their teaching method varies from faculty to faculty but it would be nice. Term exams would be around 5 months Difficulty in passing the exams depends on the faculty.

Coming to placements it's decent for streams like mechanical and civil and even ee, and it's quite excellent for cse and ece , overall one can choose this for best placements and even for heigher studies, even seniors guide you for further academically

From the 6th sem onwards students are eligible for campus. As per the guidelines of the training and placement cell, the name of the company visited can't be disclosed. There are too many companies visiting the campus for recruitment. Almost all the students who are eligible for placements get placed with a good package.

The placements are really great in terms of average package and median also. also, the overall placement rate is around 85%. most of the students get placed in IT and very few opt for core companies. the average overall is around 12LPA and for ECE it is 16LPA.
