Faculty in my department are very good .i like the way of their teaching they are ready to entertain your doubts ready to take extra classes
The placements opportunities here are very good, as the college has some of the very best company connections thus helping us to have a bright placement opportunity.
Many scholarships are available you can avail anything one of my friends hot 50000 scholarship from ngo and it is perfect year .so that he can study well .

Dislikes

The internet was a big big disappointed, no wifi in cvr hostes );
I don't like the washing machines provided. they don't work most of the times and not good care is taken for them.
Food i was bit dissatisfied with mess food and bored of it

IIT Patna

Likes

The campus is quite beautiful, filled with greenery.
The people here are amazing, friendly and smart. You'll find someone who is interested in the same stuff that you like
The teachers here are highly qualified and very helpful

Dislikes

The hostel rooms are triple sharing in the first year
There are a few restrictions on the first year students
There's no swimming pool in the campus, which is needed especially in summers.

Placement Experience:

companies come for internships in the end of 4th semester Companies like google, amazon, meta, Microsoft, flipkart etc have visited our college highest package: 1.6 crores Average package: 25lpa. Almost 90% of students got placed I'll mostly sit for placements after completing my degree.

IITP Review

Likes

Coding culture here in IITP is very good.
10 of the professors are in top 2% scientists of the world.
Overall placement in the college is good.

Dislikes

Sometimes management may not function well.
No outlet like Domino's, KFC, McDonald's inside the campus.

Placement Experience:

IIT Patna is known for its placements throughout the nation. With an average package of around 28LPA of EEE branch and 38LPA of CSE branch, the college's overall average package is somewhere around 23-24LPA.

Likes

Campus Life is great. First of all the campus is huge so there are lots of places to walk and have fun in the nature.
College fests are there which are the soul of a college.
There are various activities which keeps on helding to let students ne involved in other things of their interest apart from studies

Dislikes

The biggest thing I dislike is that the campus is far from the main city
Being far from main city devoid us from many things like many important things are not available to us. Also there are no nearby tourist places to visit with friends
There are no nearby malls or famous food outlets like Domino's, Pizza Hut or shopping complex etc.

Placement Experience:

Students start getting internships from second year only. Other than that the placements starts in third or fourth year. Different Companies come to the college itself. Average package goes around 20 lakhs per annum. Also it varies from branch to branch.

Insights of IIT PATNA

Likes

The senior junior interaction is very good
Coding culture of the college is pretty good and the clubs
Sports facilities in the college are somewhat decent

Dislikes

Less availability of the food canteens in college as well as outside of the college
Language barrier due to the major proportion of the telegu people
No nearby ready market to buy things we have to go to patna for small daily basis needs

Placement Experience:

College placement stats are decent among the second gen IITs. Even IIT PATNA Tech placements are on par with some of the first gen IITs. The overall average of the college is also good and the tech average is very high. So many companies visit this college

A brief on IIT Patna

Likes

Sports facilities are provided upto a decent level.
Seniors are very helpful, no ragging at all.
Very good coding culture among the students.

Dislikes

Campus is not as developed as you would expect from IITs. Still good however.
Location is not that good. A little far from main city patna.
No developed market area in the vicinity.

Placement Experience:

3rd year onwards, students are eligible for placements, while internships are offered 2nd year onwards. A student can apply off campus anytime. Google, sprinklr, oracle etc visit the campus. Almost all students land a job.

Likes

The hostel Life is really amazing, proper facilities are provided along with great security.
The sports complex the best place to roam. The football field in night lights is just mesmerizing.
The people here are great. Good to see huge diversity among the friends. The senior are very helpful.

Dislikes

The language barrier with some people because of huge proportion of Telugu batchmate.
The less availability of the food canteen, only few shops are there and especially for nights.
The location is little bit away from the city, and no good market is available nearby.We have to patna for important works or to do shopping.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is pretty balanced in mathematics and computing department. A good blend of cs courses with mathematics. We got almost every important courses of cs. That's help us to explore other fields like quant and others. There were 2 exams conducted in every semester for each subject one mid sem and other end sem,Along with few quizzes. The exam level is moderate.

My Experience at IIT PATNA

Likes

Environment, greenary, big campus to explore.
Sports facility of all kind giving a healthy life
Fests of my college. I enjoy a lot in them.

Dislikes

Campus is not full developed. It is under construction
Their is no swimming pool. And currently it is not also been constructed
Location of the college is far away from the main city

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from their last semester. Many different companies visit our campus for placements. Around 80% students are placed according to me. After getting degree I'll prepare for UPSC.

Sports erena there is availability of several sports .
Training and placement is so decent in the college .
All the basics facilities are available.

While playing sports in some sports like badminton u should need to bring your own
The location is somehow outer region from the main city.

Placement Experience:

Placements Is very good as 2nd generation IIT . Students after 3rd year are eligible to sit in training and placement for internship as well as pre placement offer or placement offer. Samsung Zomato Flipkart Average package is around 25-30 LPA Cs and electrical department have a 100 percent placement.

Likes

campus is very peaceful and beautiful . there are so many trees in the campus.
labs are very good , specially mechanical lab which gives very excitement.
hostel facilities are very good and it is very clean.

Dislikes

there are only few restaurants and some of them are close since so many months
gym khana facilities are not much good .
sometimes there will be transportation problem.

Placement Experience:

the campus placements are appreciable. the average package is 33LPA and the highest package is 80LPA . Oracle , TVS , Paytm ,HDFC Bank , Amazon companies visited IIT Patna. the students who get the more than 6 cgpa will eligible for the most of the companies. there are around 100 percent placements in our institute.

I have chosen btech course because the world is without an engineer.The every development taking place in the world is because of an engineer.Engineer is the main pillar of the world.In the engineering course,I took chemical engineering stream.Its very unique stream.It is going very underrated stream.But the many pharmaceutical companies are running because of a chemical engineering.A chemical engineer can also work in petroleum and chemical industries and companies like HCL based on petroleum and dr.reddys lab companies etc.I hope you find well.It is in backward in south side of india
