IIT Patna Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

placements in college are good. average package for the college is also decent enough. companies like google, sprinkler,etc and core companies like ONGC, TATA etc also comes. a good percent of students gets placed (more than 95% according to stats.).

From semester 7, students become eligible for campus placement. Various companies including Google, Microsoft, sprinkler , Acceture Japan, Rakuten Japan, Amazon, Adobe and Highest package of IIT PATNA was 82.05 LPA.

For girls there are more oppurtunities for from 2nd semester they will be getting some oppurtunities like de shaw and WE talent spirit. In second year girls will get opputunity of google step intern all are off campus. From 5th semester actual Intern season starts. stipend will be around average of 50000. and in 7th and 8th semester Placement starts average package is 1500000

From 3rd year usually students start getting placements like internships or directly a job offer for some exceptional studnets. Some students in 2nd year also get internships. The placement rate is great. During covid time it was not that great, but in recent years it recovered and the placements are good now. 95% placement rate is there in top companies for good packages.

Course curriculum is overall awesome we have projects in every semester and throughout there are lots of talks and fest. Professors are genius, and their teachings too Before semester exams there assignments and quizzes after major topics covered.

To be honest I am interested in civil engineering. So I chose the course first than I got the college by my rank. The professors will teach the basics and we have to study before exam. Now a days it's being difficult to study due to hectic syllabus

the campus placements is very good in this institute. the average package for the CSE brach is 33LPA. Around 450 offers and Oracle , Paytm , HDFC Bank companies are visited this institute. the highest package is 80LPA . Students those who get more than 6.5 CGPA are eligible for the campus interviews.

so students the basically offered internships at the starting of their 3 year which is 5th semester . google,microsoft,facebook.paypal recently visted this college,but as we are the first batch of this course we will be provided internships an dplacemts by the en of this year. the required cgpa for a good placement is a 9 pointer.a cgpa of 8 will also help you get placements in good companies . my plans after getting this degree is to move a research based ccollege in US or furter doing masters from the most priemer istitutes of india ,the iits and iims.

Nice curriculum in this college and faculty are also good their teaching style are very cool and easily understandable. Campus are so cool and larg area their are many class room and facilities. Every classroom has own smart bord. Library are also available for everyone and the library is very big in size and every type of book are available.

As college has told it will support for 100 percent placement. If it doesn't happen we can get off campus placement on the basis of our skills.so it is more important to gain skill for placement.There are lot of companies visit because it is IIT campanies come here on the name of excellence of students.IIT students are well excellent in their work.It is first batch of this course so it cannot be say what percentage of students would get placement.
