Panjab University Chandigarh Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Application for this college is easy process. You just need to fill a form from dhe.chd.gov.in for which you have to pay very nominal fee ( i paid 70rs in 2023). Teaching methods are okay.likr there's so such thing that college is in Chandigarh so better teachers or something.

I aim at going to a corporate sector or in a banking field so I chose subjects like Business communications, Financial literacy and economics and all these subjects are really helping to to go towards my dream. Business communications and Financial literacy really prepares you well for real world situations like interviews etc. They try to inculcate confidence in the student and solutions to various situations that can happen in real life. Sometimes the teacher really dig very deep into a petrichor's topic and that thing sometimes disconnects the student and 8 subjects are really difficult for students to handle if has no interest in some subjects. Time limit is a matter of concern we hardly got 1 hour in class during MSTs to complete our exam and also we get 3 hours for semester exams but the questions that come in the exam are of 18 marks each so it feels like we could've done better if time would've been a bit more and that is a factor that I consider to be a bit unsatisfactory.

From 3rd semester students become eligible for campus placement. Like,Deloitte, Accenture and many startup companies Highest package till date which is from our first batch i.e. 22 lpa and lowest till date is 4 lpa and average is 6 lpa. My plan is to get the campus placement only

The difficulty level of exam is moderate, the curriculum of my course is good . If we study according to our syllabus then we have sufficient. Exam timing is 3 hours and the half timing is 1:30 hour I.

I LL RATE IT LOW IT WAS OLD 2010-2014 STYLE CURRICULUM NOW I THINK IT CHANGED\ NOT AT ALL IT PREPARED FOR REAL WORLD PROBLEM IT IS NOW CHANGED I DONT KNOW THE NEW ONE THE EXAMS HELD EVERY YEAR IN MAY AND DECEMBER

Students are eligible for campus placements after 6 th semester. So many companies come to college every year for giving placement opportunities. 70% of students are placed every year. I am planing to do masters.

This is a very good college. Different types of course available in the college. I choose the BA course which is not too hard. Because the college facility is too good. In the exam the time is not sufficient for the students.

Course Curriculum is based on the new educational policy. As I am a medical student I'm going to learn physics, maths side of this which make me pretty much ready for the real world as when we complete school study and pursue medical after it, you don't usually learn mathematics and physics, but as the nep is launched its good that we are going to learn both maths and physics along with our main subjects.the teachers should provide more exam based material so that students can learn snd prepare their subject easily during exam days . I won't say its a hard course as nothing is hard if we learn properly.

PU GEOGRAPHY DEPARTMENT IS WELL KNOWN AND WELL ESTABLISHED DEPARTMENT. IT IS CONSIDER AS THE FIRST SCHOOL OF POPULATION STUDIES IN INDIA. The curriculum integrates physical, cultural, human, regional, social, economic and political geography together. Emphasis on research and field work alings with professional and academic growth. Practical study of gis and remote sensing equips the students with skills in high demand across various sectors such ad townplanning and urban development. Emphasis on research studies is beneficial for enrollment into PHD programs. There needs to be improvement , incorporating more industrial oriented modules like artificial intelligence in geography. There is a semester system along with internal assessment, practical and viva.

my aspects of choosing this college is to persue llb after this course so that i can stand on my own feet and this course provide much help for becoming a one.exams are mostly conducted 2 timex per semester
