Panjab University Chandigarh Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Students from 5th semester are eligible for placements. There are many big names such as Deloitte, KPMG, EY and Trident visit for recruitment and they offer decent packages for freshers ranging from the highest to 12 lakhs per annum and average package around 3 lakhs per annum. Almost 90% students got placed. I have a plan to pursue Company Secretary course after my graduation.

The several courses are there including CSE,IT, Mechanical if you want to study here choose only CSE and it.You will regret if you will choose other courses here.The are are not considered difficult here. Preparing PYQ will be enough to get good marks here.

Highest placement of my college is 5.6 lakh per year. Many big companies come here due to the only commerce college in Chandigarh. Companies like Godrej, Infosys, Trident etc. come here to take bcom graduates. 3rd year students are eligible for the placements.Moreover, many internship opportunities are provided by the college with minimum 25000/- package per month.

As i am interested in commerce thats why i chose bcom hons in management studies due to merit i git admission in that collehe also i was top amongest all colleges under panjab University chandigarh, their was semester wise exams , unit tests , practical exposure also i am pursuing mcom from university itself correspondence as i m also pursuing company secretary. But only bcom hons cannot get me job thats why everbody is doing something like ca , cs , cma proffesional courses or banking , finances etc. College should provide internships opportunities , job placements etc they should do more work on that , only for graduation purposes everybody is doing it.

Curriculum is brilliant as compared to other law colleges. One of the major achievement of this college is that our college gives the majority of judges to District Courts, High Courts and other courts. The pass out students are very successful in there particular fields and earning very nice. The curriculum prepares a student for real world application of the law and how to pursue with it relating it to the facts of a particular case. One major point of improvement is placement cell as there is no on campus placement in our college.

The subject curriculum is very ingeractive and practical. I have have English and practical and each has practical periods to ensure practical knowledge. Also the psychological tests provide real life clinical knowledge. The improvements I would want is to introduce more modern tests in psychological setting. There are semester exams two times in a year and mid semester tests in between every semester exam.

The semester exams are held every six months and before the sem exams we have the mod semesters. The teachers guide us well through all of the exams and also help us prepare for our real-life exams and the other exams except for the college ones. The faculty helps us deal with our real-world applications and also helps us prepare for our academic pressure.

Bachelor Of Commerce overall is not that good of a course just a graduation degree but its very affordable someone after bcom can expext a salary of around 20000 per month, curriculm is focused on accounts,economics and law

This course in my budget i belong to lower middle class family after completing graduation I look for civil services and I think course is very good for who is financially weak and looking for government job

The placement of the college are good and almost 70 perfent students get placed .There are many MNC's who visit the company to hire the students some of them are as big as google amazon microsoft and many more.
