PEC Chandigarh Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The placement rate in the college is good. The placements start in the seventh semester for 4th year students. Some of the big companies that have visited the college are MIcrosoft, Goldman Sachs and DE Shaw and there were 10 offers made by the companies on an average. The highest package is provided for the Software Engineer role. The percentage of students getting placed is around 70%.

Punjab engineering college is a very good college in terms of placement. A lot of companies visits every year( including apple). If you will do little hard work, you will get placement easily. All branches average placement is above 10 LPA.

For campus placement PEC is one of the best college in North India companies like JP MORGAN, AMERICAN EXPRESS, DEUTSCHE BANK, MCKINSEY, MICROSOFT PHONEPE, NATWEST, CVENT, BAIN &COMPANY are hiring over 20+ Years from our college and Average package stood at 16 LPA and Median around 12 LPA highest Package at 2023 was 85 LPA DOMESTIC from Atlassian and 1.25 CR from Amazon Dublin International Package

Placements provided in our college are very high. The previous year, many conglomerates including FAANG companies visited our college for placements. Around 7 students got jobs at Apple with the highest salary package of 64.5 LPA. The highest salary package offered this year was above 83 LPA.

Placements are good, students become eligible for internship in 6th sem, college provides a lot of internship opportunities, Also a lot of companies visit college for internship and placements. Highest package is 86LPA by Atlassian to 6 students. And average package is 18LPA After degree I want to take job, and focus on on-campus placement.

After 3rd year students are eligible to grab placement offers on-campus or off campus. Average package for cse is 24 lpa.highest was 83 lpa by atlassian.placement percentage is good too around 90+% for circuital branches

American express , jp Morgan, Microsoft are the main and many more companies are providing on campus placement. Google banned our college so they do not visit . Near about 65 to 85 percent students are placed including core and tech . In 5th sem interview are taken for internship some students get ppo also. And during 8th sem students get their final placement. For eligibility for interview 7.5 cg is required. Pec is tier 1 college so package offered is quite good . Medial for electrical for this was 14lpa and for cse was 16 lpa . I am in electrical but I dream to be placed in IT company.

I choose this because of my rank not with my own choice ???????? It has okayish faculty members All my faculty have post graduation and some of them have PhD degree too There are mid term exams and end term examination with different proportion added to our cgpa
