PEC Chandigarh Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From 5 sem students start applying for internship some comapnies came only few students get hired in it. Most of them had to go off campus or had to choose course , in the 7th and 8th sem companies came for fte.

Placements at our college are one of the most sought after aspects of Institute and play a crucial role in attracting students the placement process generally begins in the 7th semester where students become eligible to sit for complete drives pre placement talks aptitude drowns according test technical interviews and hour interviews are conducted depending on the profile a wide range of companies visit the campus spanning sectors like core engineering IT data science consulting analytics product based roles denounced recruiters like Microsoft Amazon Gold Demps such as JP Morgan Qualcomm Maruti Tata Motors Deloitte Pwc Infosys Wipro and Assinus among others the product based firms and tech giants usually hire in limited numbers but offer a lucrative packages for instance Microsoft and museums have made offers in range of 40 to 50 lakh per annum with analytics and consulting firms generally offer between eight to 15 lpa the average package of Institute to hover around 10 to 12 lpa varying across branches as for employability pec ensures the student remain industry ready those students still need to up skill through coding for platforms internships and certifications personally after completing my degree I plan to pursue opportunities in data science and Analytics leveraging my college names strong alumni network and my own technical preparation to secure competitive role in the industry

The students become eligible for placements after their sixth semester. Many companies visit PEC some of the top recruiters are Uber,Microsoft,JP Morgan,Goldman Sachs,Texas Instruments,Cisco,American Express and many more. This year the highest package was 61 lpa given to 3 students from circuital branches,6 students received offer of 52 lpa. The average CTC was 13.6 lpa and specifically about ECE it was 15.6 lpa. 456 out of 694 students were placed which is a placement rate of 65.7% including PPOs from companies. My plans would be to get placed with a good package .

Campus placements are offered and internships are also offered in the 3rd year, many new branches are also being introduced to the curriculum. Placements are according to the branch and capability of the student. There is good placement ratio.

Course curriculum in terms of relevance and comprehensive is way behind. Subjects that are taught are way outdated and dosnt help in getting jobs. You have to work on your own for job placements . Practical methods are taught but they are not very effective.

there is good placement ratio in the college in this year also around 90 students among 130 of this brach got on campus placement also if not get the college placement then also there is so many research opportunities and higher education opportunities available along with off campus placemets also for interships students of 3rd year are eligible for in campus internship and for placement 4th year students are eligible companies like Microsoft, Amex, JP morgan, Goldman Sacks etc. visit the campus for intership annd placements

the placement is good enough the people from cse and ece are doing good many students from this college get pre placement offers which is very good and the plans after my degree is to crack into finace as I am not into my core branch

Students are eligible for the campus placements from the starting from 5th semester . Companies like JP MORGAN, MCKINSEY, and Google, microsoft Average package google offers is 28-30 LPA Approx 80-90 percents students this year are placed already.

The placements are quite good. If one maintains a good cgpa they will get the job easily. However one really needs to work very hard if they really want to get a good job considering the current market.

form 3rd year college placements get started but student can do side internship by themself in 1st and 2nd year offcampus type , there is no restriction from our college . in 2023 atlasian give highest package of 83 lpa . various companies like microsoft , jp morgan , american express come to PEC for hiring .
