I'm very excited in our annual fest that we called vyom because in this we make lots of fun in dancing singing games like indoor and outdoor both.
Thinks i liked it the faculty will take care of students very well that they will give their full support for the students
I took the hostel form and filled all the form so it was and quik.the fees is affordable spur the facilities they are availing so it was good

Dislikes

Campus is not as good as expected but the experience is good and not any fest from the college books are provided by collage from the library facilities are enough for students but there are no sports activity to perform
No fests are here organised facilities are very poor and sad sports encouragement is also very poor and no need no social groups only nss,clubs and student portals there just waste of time to do all those things
Really the campus life is worst expect class rooms we can't see anything,in 2024 we can't see engineering colleges with outs 5 branches and 10 blocks ,but here we can only have limited students and limited epiqment

Professors for my branch are brilliant while teaching or in genral . Most of them are very helpfull .
Attendance : in comparison to other colleges our college is lot more lenient on Attendance
It has nice library and auditorium. And overall has decent infrastructure

Dislikes

Maintenance: college lacks Maintenance as it has everything to be a lot more enjoyable. U can see this in washrooms, classes, sport grounds or labs
Hostel: its been almost a year and we have , still not been alloted with hostel which is present in campus
In every class there is a air conditioner which is not working

Placement Experience:

As i 2nd year student i lack in depth information about placement in our college. But i know we have in campus placement with highest package being around 10 lpa. As some of the local and national level companies visit

Here we like the campus environment and the behavior of the colleague are very nice
We also like the infrastructure of the collage and the nice behavior of the staff
In ours canteen we like the snacks meal given to us

Dislikes

The behavior of the professor are very rude
Something the professor shougted to the students
Some of the staff members they dont even listen to the problem of the students

Course Curriculum Overview:

As the students of pharmacy we always ready to conqure every situation but sometimes our faculty member also helps us regarding our lesson and for our future. Sometime some members does not give their 100% to conqure the lessons

Life as a 3rd Year Engineering Student at GEC Raipur

Likes

Infrastructure - as an state sponsered government college it is having really really good infrastructure
Fees - only 82400/- is the total institute fees for 4 year of B.Tech which is really really less . Only Male and general have to play that . It is close to free of girl students
Non Academic - Sports are the major part of our college.

Dislikes

Placement - Like I am an 3 year student and seeing 6-7 getting placed on campus on our college is really frustrating
Faculty - Cse and other branch also have many part-time teacher will very basic and low level of knowledge
Internship - Internship Opportunity on campus is close to 0 . But if you are skilled you can get it off campus

Placement Experience:

At 7th semester examination you are eligible for placement. Companies visit in the college are less . Larsen and toubro , ITC are the major companies here . And gave an average CTC between 3.5 to 6 lakhs 30-40% get placement (on + off campus) . Majority of the students here are planning for M.Tech and other civil services

Likes

Very friendly and knowledgeable faculties, they help us a lot in solving doubts , proper explanation along with projectors are showed
Campus is good , everywhere u can see greenery along with mess and canteen
Social interaction is also good as students are curious to know each other

Dislikes

In Summers, it's very hot in Bhilai and the classes should be fully air conditioned
Accounts section should open more counters as it is very time consuming and sometimes we even miss out lectures
College parking area should be a little bigger

Course Curriculum Overview:

This is the generation of Computer and AI. As I have a deep interest in this so I choose to do my btech from computer science and engineering. The course includes learning of several programming languages that includes python , java , java script, etc. Proper data structures and algorithms are also included in the course to improve the problem solving capabilities of the students. The improvement needed in the course according to me is there should be a little more depth in the programming languages syllabus to gain some extra knowledge which will be helpful in placements. We have two mid semester before semester end exams. Difficulty is moderate and one can easily get good marks if they study a little.

Likes

Faculties have high teaching experience.
The environment between seniors and juniors is friendly
Various sports events organised during college fest

Dislikes

Lack of instruments and apparatus in lab
Canteen facility is not up to the mark is it should be
Lack of placement and intership in the college

Placement Experience:

7th semester cleared students are eligible for campus interviews with no backlog. Also they need atleast 60% in the exams along with no backlogs. There aren't much companies that come for the placement so majority of the students appear for off campus placement.

Faculties are good . They do their work and complete syllabus in time . They provide question banks n all to the students
Campus is beautiful. It contains many flowers and trees and many eye-catching things . I love it.
Events are held in once a year . Events are very good handle by teachers and coordinator

Dislikes

Fees counter are crowded with students difficulty in fees payment

I have choosen this subject on my own there is no such thing from which I have choosen this . I have to do engineering so I have choosen computer science and engineering.Now I am learning something new from the teachers.

Exams are easier as compared to PYQ ques.
Checking are easier but they make bad rumour that the university checking are hard.
Most important things I like the most is that it was the biggest University among chhatisgarh.

Dislikes

Sometimes I feels like our university are doing partiality.
And most important it was very slow in processing
Sometimes I feel like our university checking is depend on our luck.

Placement Experience:

We are eligible for placement from 7th sem onwards. And in our collage many big companies are visited like vipro ,TCS ,HCL, Mahindra etc. and they provide 10-20 job opportunities. In our collage average package is about 3 LPA and the highest package was 48 LPA. My plans after getting degree was I wanna try off campus placement.

College is highly focused on studies and if you ask help from teachers they will helped you alot.

Dislikes

There is very less interaction between seniors and juniors .
College environment is so serious it is not friendly

Placement Experience:

In 6th semester or after 6th semester you're eligible for campus placements. There are name of many companies you can see on college official website.Highest packege is 38 l.p.a and percentage of students getting placements varied every year according to types of students .

The college infrastructure is beautiful for sure but need some maintanence for plants and trees
Classes are well equipped with projectors, screens , speakers etc.
Campus life is not much good as there is much less crowd then I expected.

Dislikes

Open auditorium is not that good as It is made with steel sheets roof.
Management of the college is not good as they dont support students financially for cultural programs and clubs
Old labs and building need to be re construct.

Placement Experience:

The placement is not good un the college. Students are advised to find there own job before completion of the course. The highest package was 3 Lpa and average is 2.4 Lpa. Students have to learn and create skills to get placed in well companies.
