I liked the campus beauty and the staff over here who are very supportive and the teachera who are ready for yoy every time you go to them and wven the hygine is maintained quite good here
Faculty members in this department are the best atleast i think so, they interact with students in a friendly manner this allows us to freely ask our doubts and gain knowledge.
Tution fee in each year is increased by 10 percent and there are number of scholarships and fee refunds for which a student can apply for after approval of his cirtificates and various other documents.

Dislikes

Hostels - their is not sufficient hostels available for students and hostel mess is very bad. their is no student union available so it is very difficult to make some change in college.
It is not so good as expected because of lack of facilities within the college.but according to social aspects and culture it is good and our nit is lacking infrastructure and this affects campus life too.
It is a very small campus compared to the other nits, the college grounds are very small, and there are no separate buildings for the courses.

Likes

The interaction with the faculty is very helpful.
College environment is wonderful with lot of greenery.
This college had very big library which is very helpful in case of academics

Dislikes

The hostel facility in the college is not that good.
The mess food available in the hostel is always difficult to eat.
Students are not allowed to go out of hostel after 9 pm

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum of the college is very good. Especially it is very productive that it brings all the hidden talents of the students and also increases one to one interactive skills and communication skills among the students.

The realities of NIT raipur

Likes

The faculty have completed phd level degree and have great knowledge for the subject
They are plenty of play area and also canteens for students interest
The college is filled with great eco of friendly environment and great curriculum

Dislikes

There are many security persons and strict timings
There is a lack of hostel facility for boys in the campus
Lecturer are quite tough and the exam paper are hard

The syllabus is great thing to be learnt and be a great enthusiam through our course of future life and also great mindset through self developing skills and knowledge.be a great entrepreneur for this there is entrepreneurship club

College was not expected as i thought

Likes

College fests are very good they are so interesting
Faculty is very good they spend time for students
College environment is good full of trees and flower plants

Dislikes

College area is small i expected very big
Hostel facility very worst the hostel is depends on your cpa only 75%available for students
College infrastructure is also not as expected

I took electronics and communication engineering i wasnt influenced for choosing it.it was choosen on my own because it is the ever green branch on placements guarentee for jobs timing between exams are not so short and we can study in the time

Likes

I like the faculty as there experience is very high
The atmosphere around the college is very nice
There are many malls in our city and it will be easy to get things

Dislikes

The buildings in our college are too old
The infrastructure in our college is not as good as private collges
The college is too small as compared to other universities and national institutions

A detailed review of NIT raipur

Likes

There is a pretty well organised and trained security facility all over the campus premises .
The faculty are friendly and well interactive especially the laboratory assistants are good.
The class are well designed and ventilated .

Dislikes

The syllabus is a little outdated according to the present topics .
The faculty mostly speak in hindi, so it is difficult for other states students to understand.
The is improper availability of hostel facility

The courses are a bit outdated and needed to be updated . New courses like ai and ml must be included as its usses and application are very much growing . The laboratory equipments need to received with new ones ..

Life at nit Raipur

Likes

Placements are good and the average package is also good and max students will get definitely placed in any of the company
Teachers clarify doubts very nice and explain us every thing without hesitation
Hostels are good and food is very excellent

Dislikes

The env around the college and the campus
Hostel rooms are good but little small and no attached bathrooms for students
Mosquitos are more in the campus and no one will take care of that

Placements of the college is good and the package is also good highest package is very good and average package is also very nice and excellent I like this college due the reason of placements and the distance

Likes

The environment of college as it provides peaceful and calm space for students to study
The senior junior interaction wherein seniors provide you with valuable information
The facilities are top class the lab equipment and other stuff

Dislikes

The faculty is very biased and show discrimination
There is always a nirth india south india discrimination
The college simply cannot contend with other NITs

College placements of my campus are decent when ppl think of the placenents of an NIT althougu for my particular branch it is highly impossible to get a core placemwnt students of 3rd year and 4th year are eligible for campus placements

A life of a NIT student

Likes

Activity clubs and events . I have shown interest in shourya the sports and event management club . I have participated in events and clubs. Nit Raipur offered a variety of student clubs and activities that keep campus life engaging
Oppurtunities in electronic and communication engineering. Since I have studied ECE and I have interest in chip design .THE institute offered access to labs and projects research opportunities that allingn with my goals
Create an academic freedom . I have involved in many political skits , which also explore cyber security and foreign analysis and advanced materials the diverse environment that allow me to explore beyond just engineering

Dislikes

The hostels accommodation is not present in each and every student of nit Raipur we have to maintain a decent cgpa to accommodate hostel in sem examinations . Sem examination is also a bit tough to write it properly.
The mess food is not pretty good to eat. It is have less spice and salt.it is difficult to south people to eat here . Si we have to outside for nutrients . Every Sunday the mess will be closed . The canteen foodis also not that much nice
The faculty of nit Raipur teaches classes in hindi as we are from South India we can't understand hindi . So we are lacking in academics. The girls and boys ratio is very less . It is around 4:1. .

Placement Experience:

The students of seventh and eighth semester are allowed to secure campus placement in our college . The company's that offer campus placements and internships are google , amazon , Accenture, infosys etc.. The percentage of students getting placements are 85 percent. MY plans after degree are to pursue Mtech from iit Bombay after my btech . The highest package of our college are 55 lakhs per annum and least package is around 6 lakhs . If there is no placement we get in this college we can attend other private interview in outside companies.

Hostel facility for freshers including mess
Hostel fee and mess fee are affordable as usual
In the campus there is a garden named central garden which looks beautiful

Dislikes

Hostel will be available in the campus for those who have more cgi
Hostel food is not that good and rooms are small
Campus is too small in size ,less ground facility

Placement Experience:

Here , in my college, placements are somehow better than some colleges and worser than the top colleges especially in nits . If we want to secure a better job then we have to study consistantly by doing hard work as competition is increasing day by day

Yes college life is beautiful and it is not like my intermediate
Yes iam interested in interacting with everyone and join many clubs
Yes most of the faculties are not like our intermediate teachers they are like professional

Dislikes

I have got more freedom and I think iam missing it.
I have been wasting time on social media and like that.
I am interested in playing games but here dominance of North Indian is more

Placements of our college were looking good and our average package is of 20lpa (lakh per annum)and placements mainly for ece branch are so good if we go towards core branch and about non core It is too difficult to get placement

As an alumnus of NIT Raipur, here are my views on this institution-

Faculty- The faculty lags behind in terms of NIT standards. It is slightly above average. This is because their teaching method is not very engaging. That being said, the teachers are helpful. They will advise you to engage in extracurriculars as well.

Student Interaction- The senior-junior interaction is good.

Despite IIT Raipur and AIIMS Raipur being in close proximity, interaction and

idea-sharing with them is negligible.

Industry Connect- It has a good industry connection for some core branches like mining, metallurgy, and civil.

Campus Life- The campus life isn’t good. But eventually, you’ll learn to cope with things and enjoy yourself. You’ll learn a lot during your degree from this campus.

Infrastructure- There is a lot of room for improvement in the infrastructure of this college.

Placement- Placement records are decent. Last year an average package of INR 10.1 LPA was recorded by the college. A total of 738 offers were made by 101 companies. Some of the companies that visit the campus for placements include- Infoedge, Siemens, Adobe, Barclays, Capgemini, FIAT, Reliance, TATA, SapientNitro, Oracle, Amazon, Samsung, JP Morgan Chase, Cognizant and Wipro.

Overall, I would say that NIT Raipur is a bit lacking in many respects. However, you’ll get a good chance to rise over here because of low competition.
