I liked the campus beauty and the staff over here who are very supportive and the teachera who are ready for yoy every time you go to them and wven the hygine is maintained quite good here
Faculty members in this department are the best atleast i think so, they interact with students in a friendly manner this allows us to freely ask our doubts and gain knowledge.
Tution fee in each year is increased by 10 percent and there are number of scholarships and fee refunds for which a student can apply for after approval of his cirtificates and various other documents.

Dislikes

Hostels - their is not sufficient hostels available for students and hostel mess is very bad. their is no student union available so it is very difficult to make some change in college.
It is not so good as expected because of lack of facilities within the college.but according to social aspects and culture it is good and our nit is lacking infrastructure and this affects campus life too.
It is a very small campus compared to the other nits, the college grounds are very small, and there are no separate buildings for the courses.

Everything about my college

Likes

Like this surrounding area here we love leaving shuttle and the food eating places and restaurants here
Will I chaupati more and it also very too much useful and timepass did contains lot
Contents lots of an activity and some water very peaceful areas like parks and near pull Mars which help which are very useful for being lot of items

Dislikes

The people who are here some what are the rivers and some of others have behave very rude some what behaving
I am so much we are from then we don't know how to speak Hindi here but we are managing to try to speak Hindi but somewhat it is very Di
It is about the native place of Shirdi Shirdi people so it somewhat very difficult to survive here

Placement Experience:

Replacement is very good in NIT Raipur and not comparing with other NIT is but the placements are here satisfied the people the average packages is here is about to 10 lakh from each group and here the mining engineering happened the highest package because the people here are so much interested in mining and such other activities

From the 4th semester the students are eligible to campus placements and up to that students are busy to fill their resume with all they are activities and their talents students must have minimum 8% to get placements

A journey in my college life

Likes

The boys to girls ratio is not at all equal boys are many members but girls are only few in my college. The infrastructure of this college is very good and teaching style is amazing with the faculties
There are many places and nice spots in my college like canteen , garden , play ground and library it is a good atmosphere
The course which I took was really tough job to study and maintain the good cgpa but if we try hard it will be helpful for our future campus placements

Dislikes

In this present year I was feelings some home seek feelings after few weeks it will be okay here to live for btech 4 years
There is no swimming pool in this college it really very bad situation for me because I usually swim in my hometown
The hostel facilities are not that good as I expected in my inter college it should be improved and mess is also very bad I am unable to eat properly

Course Curriculum Overview:

I took the course Electronics and communication engineering with the passion I have from my childhood to become a hardware engineer. During the 5 months per semester there will be 2 exams conducted 1 will be mid semester and the other is end semester. We have 3 hours of time for examination. I think the teaching style of few core subject professors should have changed

My opinion about my college

Likes

College atmosphere and things we have here and good things that we improve our talent
Teacher and good management and things that we have here to learn
Lab facilities here and the things we have in the college

Dislikes

Hostel facilities is some what problem here and the care taker is not good
Food in hostel also should be improved and some what mess commity also
The non veg should include in canteen food and the other things

Placement Experience:

Here we have good placements for every branch like from computer science and engineering to mining engineering because of the college the mining branch can sit the other branch placements also if we have subject from 6 semester students are eligible 90 percent students almost getting placed after the degree plans are good enough for every one and here we can do enterpreneur ship or the things we have here will be enough

Likes

I like my college ground and the events conducting on the ground.
I like my college central garden it has a peaceful atmosphere.
I like my hostel because they are not neglecting us.

Dislikes

I don't like my Classes because they are getting angry in all situations.
I don't like my class room benches because they have very less space.
I don't like my hostel because of the food they are giving us.

From the 4th semester students are eligible for the campus placement until the students are not eligible for the campus placements from first year to 4th year students focus to improve their resume documents that submitting and the resume after I am getting degree I will go for job

I like most or faculty members here they clear all the doors what they what we have nearly and we also room around the places where we should from here so I will very happy while joining this college it is very helpful to people for us so I am very h
Really I like the people and women who are here there very so nice and so kind hearted they had a low times and low situations so I am very thankful and obeyful and respectful and so I am very happy to join this college and very nice to see this envi
There are mostly Mall CR to run here we should also watch Telugu movies in nearby malls it is somewhat very difficult will travelling with auto because the auto charges are very high it would charge nearly 2 to 300 for 56 km here so we felt somewhat

Dislikes

The people here always you always eating pan here that is not liked by so many people so I think it is waste of time and spending a lot of money here because there is no such a beautiful area here to Rome here to home that is what we feel very dislik
The chaupati is very nice problem but we can eat and
The people and auto uncles are very rude and very harsh if behave very hard

Placement Experience:

Replacement placements are good in this college I am not saying I am not comparing with other NITs or iits but it is good and we can get a good placement according to our cgpr SGP so it is good for a kind we should mention everything here

Our college is good but they need to improve infrastructure

Girls in our class like all girls so preety and actually girls are so cute
And my friends there are so good at everything espically at relationship
And all the cultural events and events in the college

Faculty is too bad there are not all explaing clearly
Espically for the South Indian people they will face too much difficulty
And the food is little bit good except the morning tiifins everything is bad at hostel

Likes

Infrastructure is started developing in NIT Raipur.
Time table is also very comfortable to the students.

Dislikes

There are limited hostels for students in institute (NIT Raipur ) .
Area of NIT RAIPUR is very small as compared to other institutions.
Some of the lecturers are giving their classes in hindi not in common language (English)

Placement Experience:

After 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. Companies like Amazon, Deloitte, Infosys and wipro and etc visited National institute of technology Raipur and made so many offers. Highest package offered is 62 lakh per annum and average package is 18 lakh per annum. And percentage of students getting placed in campus placements is 75 percentage. Many of ece branch students are choosing non core because core is getting less chances.

College life in NIT RAIPUR

The faculty here are very supportive with all the students irrespective of their branches.they provide the best way for the preparation and also the guidance given by them was very useful to the students in various situations and they motivate us .
The supportive seniors we have in this college the seniors here are very interactive .and the seniors provides us all the notes and previous exam papers for our better preparation and they are the best inspiration in our college
The clubs we are having are very huge and it is the correct place where we can present our talent to the people.the various clubs include photography,coding,literacy,ieee,e-cell and various committees like sanskriti, technocracy .

Dislikes

The campus is very small in area and there is no place to chill in this college and it is the biggest problem for so many students in this college as so many students will suffer a health issue before the exams and there must be a chill place
The hostel allotment is very less in this college it is not providing the hostel facilities to the local area people and it is very huge problem for the local people to interact with other people from various states .
The college consists of only one main building in which all the students will have classes and it is not that much huge to maintain all the people and there is no one big auditorium to allot all the students in this college .

Placement Experience:

The students will become eligible for the campus placements is 3 rd year . The companies visited in the college are Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Infosys , accenture , decathlon, Wipro , HCL and many others. The recently highest package in our college is 55 Lakhs per annum. It is the highest in our college. The average package in our college is 13.5 lakhs per annum . Percentage of students getting placements in the college is nearly 75-80% . My plans after getting the degree is to clear the gate examination.

As an alumnus of NIT Raipur, here are my views on this institution-

Faculty- The faculty lags behind in terms of NIT standards. It is slightly above average. This is because their teaching method is not very engaging. That being said, the teachers are helpful. They will advise you to engage in extracurriculars as well.

Student Interaction- The senior-junior interaction is good.

Despite IIT Raipur and AIIMS Raipur being in close proximity, interaction and

idea-sharing with them is negligible.

Industry Connect- It has a good industry connection for some core branches like mining, metallurgy, and civil.

Campus Life- The campus life isn’t good. But eventually, you’ll learn to cope with things and enjoy yourself. You’ll learn a lot during your degree from this campus.

Infrastructure- There is a lot of room for improvement in the infrastructure of this college.

Placement- Placement records are decent. Last year an average package of INR 10.1 LPA was recorded by the college. A total of 738 offers were made by 101 companies. Some of the companies that visit the campus for placements include- Infoedge, Siemens, Adobe, Barclays, Capgemini, FIAT, Reliance, TATA, SapientNitro, Oracle, Amazon, Samsung, JP Morgan Chase, Cognizant and Wipro.

Overall, I would say that NIT Raipur is a bit lacking in many respects. However, you’ll get a good chance to rise over here because of low competition.
