I liked the campus beauty and the staff over here who are very supportive and the teachera who are ready for yoy every time you go to them and wven the hygine is maintained quite good here
Faculty members in this department are the best atleast i think so, they interact with students in a friendly manner this allows us to freely ask our doubts and gain knowledge.
Tution fee in each year is increased by 10 percent and there are number of scholarships and fee refunds for which a student can apply for after approval of his cirtificates and various other documents.

Dislikes

Hostels - their is not sufficient hostels available for students and hostel mess is very bad. their is no student union available so it is very difficult to make some change in college.
It is not so good as expected because of lack of facilities within the college.but according to social aspects and culture it is good and our nit is lacking infrastructure and this affects campus life too.
It is a very small campus compared to the other nits, the college grounds are very small, and there are no separate buildings for the courses.

A review of my college(NIT Raipur)

Likes

I really like the college as per the facilities they provide in terms of the fee they are charging
The faculty is the key for any college and in our college all the faculty is well experienced and here they try best explain students
The college has a good placement track record . And It is compulsory that a student have to do a internship in the third year

Dislikes

The main problem with the college is that there is very less hostel facility and the college is far from other outside hostels

Placement Experience:

In my college the students from third year itself becomes eligible for applying internships and campus placements also company is like Microsoft Google Facebook also irritate our college for placements the percentage of students getting placed is almost about 72 to 80 percentage

good NIT college compared to IIT colleges related...

Likes

big ground and central library are famous in college
so many cultural activities are conducting by every time
smart classes and lab are in colleges are so good

Dislikes

lack of hostal for undergraduate student for 2nd year
no proper food and rooms for undergraduate students
less WiFi for college students to do there work

national institute of technology information technology branch have highly placement of compared to all branches in same college the average placement of are 18 laks per annum so i choice above colleges

Teachers are friendly, A good environment for studying
Number of friends, there are many fests , good labs
Seniors are friendly, Good ground for foot ball , cricket

Dislikes

Compact size of building , staff will teach major in hindhi
Less infrastructure and less time for self development
Less sources for money in projects , language problem

Placement Experience:

Students are edible to placements from 6 th semester. As I am. Studying in an NIT the placement scenario is nice . The highest package is around 54 LPA median is around 13 lakhs and My branch students have chances for both core and programming side The placements percentage is also good

Rivalry of Raipur

I like the college timings as it is very stress free when we compared to other college and we have weekend holidays
The security and privacy in the college which is around surrounded by the plenty of securities who always take care about the students safety
The college is raging free campus and there is no fear of seniors in the college

Dislikes

The college infrastructure is not pretty good and its look like very old college and it is a very small college
The colege food is bit of bad which is not good for the south indian because less spice and salt
The college not having enough hostels for the students for the hostel accommodation you required to have a good CGPA during your odd sem

Placement Experience:

Around 40% of the students get the placement during their 3rd year second sem and some of them will get the PPIs ,the companies like Amazon,samsung, godrej etc ..will visit the campus during the campus placements and placenta are held in CCC building of nit Raipur.

it is average college bu good for placements

i like here the faculty. most of the faculty fully experienced they gives good lectures and here in first semester you all need to make a video for communication skills project
i like the college cluybs .there are many clubs and events that would hap[pen in 2nd semester but in first semester there would not any events
the placements for cse and it brances are very good here .the average package for it branch is 18.6 lp[a ctc

here there is one problem that hostels inside the campus are in sufficien.from second semester hostels are given on the basis nof cgpa
the no of srtuden5ts getting hostels are very less only about 25 students from branch gets hostelks
the infrastructure i n this so0 worse it is oldest nit so the infrsturucture herer not so good

Placement Experience:

from 3rd year students are eligible for p[lacements google ,amazon ,microsoft etc.. highest package was around 60lpa and average is arouynd 18.6 around 70 to 80 percent students get placed my plan is like simple everyone get a job anfd think after that

Likes

Different different Clubs are there which makes interesting games and fun activities every time
Sports and gym are also good and we feel free to play the game

Dislikes

Campus is too small as compared to other nits
Timing of college is 9 to 5pm and after that we feel tired and doesn't get time to do any another work

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students get campus placement and ofcourse there is competition to get intership on campus which is good thing because competition create the awareness about the field where we are weak

Supportive and knowledgeable faculty members in our college.
Supportive and helpful senior's in our college.
In our college great organised great fest for students who intrested in each domain.

Dislikes

Infrastructure is not enough good. Small in area.
Not availablity of hostels for all the students. Only 40% of students got hostel in each branch. And If you want to take hostel you need to score good SPI each year.
There is not separate branch building's in our college.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students are eligible for taking participation in campus placement program. There's are number's of company come in our college for hire the students in good package about 10 to 12 lakhs rupees average .

The atmosphere of the college is very freindly and helpfull
The opportunities for different activities are great.
The location of the institute is easily accessable

Dislikes

Outdated hostel infrastructure and accomodation.
Number of boys hostels are not sufficient
Old and outdated lab equipments and tools

From 3rd semester student become eligible for campus placement. Companies like L&T,Reliance Industries Limited,Aditya Birla Group,Dassault Systemes etc. are visited in our college. The highest package Offered an nit raipur in 2023 for btech is 55lakh and average is 13.75 lakh

I like the academic environment of the college it is quite competitive.
Alumni network of the college is very strong .
Placement are really impressive for both core and none core branches.

Dislikes

Hostels facility are not sufficient and it is alloted based on the academic environment
Infrastructure is not good it is still running on the old building
Some subject which are irrelevant is still running.

Placement Experience:

Placement of the college is very impressive almost 85% of the students grab the placement offers last year in which highest was 62 lpa offer by linkdin while average was about 9 lpa including all branches. Companies like google, Microsoft, tata steel, vedanta, jsw come for the placement. I have planned to get placed after completion of degree.

A Glimpse of NIT Raipur

I appreciate the academic environment of the college because almost every is sincere with their studies
Faculties are very supporting and well behaved they guide us at every point where we need them
Placements are really impressive and it's getting improvement every year

Dislikes

College infrastructure is not good because it is still running on the old building of GEC which was further converted into NIT Later
Hostels facility is not sufficient they have only limited hostels for boys and girls
Poor connectivity of WiFi at library and classroom

Placement Experience:

Placement of the college is very impressive almost 90% of the students of the last batch grab the placement offer which a highest of 62LPA and an average of 11 lpa ( approx). Few of the famous company which come for the placement in the college are Microsoft, adobe, jindal steel, adani power, tata steel, vedanta, bajaj, Mahindra, infosys, texas instrument, Oracle, cisco etc. Students onwards 6th semester with no backlog are eligible for the placement

As an alumnus of NIT Raipur, here are my views on this institution-

Faculty- The faculty lags behind in terms of NIT standards. It is slightly above average. This is because their teaching method is not very engaging. That being said, the teachers are helpful. They will advise you to engage in extracurriculars as well.

Student Interaction- The senior-junior interaction is good.

Despite IIT Raipur and AIIMS Raipur being in close proximity, interaction and

idea-sharing with them is negligible.

Industry Connect- It has a good industry connection for some core branches like mining, metallurgy, and civil.

Campus Life- The campus life isn’t good. But eventually, you’ll learn to cope with things and enjoy yourself. You’ll learn a lot during your degree from this campus.

Infrastructure- There is a lot of room for improvement in the infrastructure of this college.

Placement- Placement records are decent. Last year an average package of INR 10.1 LPA was recorded by the college. A total of 738 offers were made by 101 companies. Some of the companies that visit the campus for placements include- Infoedge, Siemens, Adobe, Barclays, Capgemini, FIAT, Reliance, TATA, SapientNitro, Oracle, Amazon, Samsung, JP Morgan Chase, Cognizant and Wipro.

Overall, I would say that NIT Raipur is a bit lacking in many respects. However, you’ll get a good chance to rise over here because of low competition.
